***PRODUCTION TIME *** I create each piece to-order, from scratch. Due to this handmade process, I have a work schedule that reflects the number of days I need to ship your order. That announcement is found under my shop header at http://www.eriadesigns.etsy.com/. You may choose to rush your order by purchasing the 24 hr. turnaround option at checkout.
***HOW TO PERSONALIZE***
Where drop-down boxes are available, select preferences at that location. For all other details, leave personalization notes in the message box during checkout.
***CUSTOMER ACCOUNTABILITY*** -Please finalize your design details prior to purchase. I want to ensure a smooth transaction and having all details finalized at time of purchase is the best way to achieve this goal. It is the customer's responsibility to read the description, size, materials, etc. prior to purchase. Refunds are not granted for customers who do not read this information and understand it prior to purchase.
***NEED YOUR ORDER FASTER?***
Select one of the two "24 hour turnaround" options during checkout with either Priority Mail or Express Mail.
***WRONG SIZE, WRONG CHAIN, ETC.***
If you select chain length that is not best suited to your needs, I can exchange it with the following agreement:
*chain is returned in new condition (even chains worn for one day experience dulling of shine)
*item is returned within 7 days of purchase
*return postage is either provided or paid to E. Ria Designs to compensate for the labor and postage required to make the change/exchange.

***HAND STAMPING DISCLAIMER*** Hand stamping is a very rustic method of imprinting letters, designs, numbers, etc. into the surface of metal. In doing so, not every letter will line up exactly the same as the next, providing a unique, one-of-a-kind look. Please note that the results of each piece will vary from item to item. These results are not to be viewed as flaws but as characteristics of this folk art technique.
***CHAIN GUARANTEE*** Chains are guaranteed for quality 30 days after purchase (based on USPS timestamp date received). After the 30-day period, customers are asked to purchase an a la carte chain from that so-named section in the shop.

Payment is required at time of checkout via Etsy's credit card processing system or Paypal. All orders are paid prior to work as most items are made-to-order.
***S H I P P I N G...A D D R E S S ***
It is wise to make sure both your Etsy and Paypal addresses match up and are up to date before checking out. I want to make sure your order reaches its destination! If you are shipping to a different address or to a gift recipient, you may edit your address during checkout so the recipient's address is in the invoice.
SHIPPING POLICY - I ship via USPS first class mail with delivery confirmation included. Once the shipping label is printed, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipment with the tracking number included.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS - E. Ria Designs ships worldwide via USPS International First-Class Mail. If a more prompt shipping method is desired, please contact E. Ria prior to purchase to make arrangements.
For those countries that charge customs/taxes on imported goods, E. Ria Designs is not responsible for collecting/charging these fees. Therefore, it is the duty of the customer to be aware of charges that may occur at time of delivery/pickup for imported goods.
Refunds will not be granted only because an item has not or did not arrive as hoped for to an international country or where customs fees are not paid. In extreme cases, I will replace an item that absolutely never arrived after 12 weeks. International shipping depends on many variables, many of which neither the seller or buyer have much control. Please consider this situation prior to purchase. E. Ria Designs can not replace an item because a customer did not pickup an order at the post office because of due fees.
In addition, for international customers, should you provide an incomplete or inaccurate address, E. Ria Designs will not ship a new item at our cost. The first shipment must first be returned to the studio to allow for a reshipment at the buyer's cost, or a deposit must be made by the buyer that is refundable when the non-delivery package is returned to the E. Ria Designs studio.
Refunds and Exchanges
CUSTOM WORK - Prior to making the purchase, please have made ALL decisions about the piece, including wording, initials, dates, chain length/style, etc. If I have to contact you multiple times or change orders once placed, there is an increased risk of mistakes. These items can not be refunded or exchanged, so please consider this policy prior to ordering. Custom pieces, once made, can not be cancelled or changed for any reason or fault of the buyer.
If a return arrangement has been approved by E. Ria Designs, the returning item(s) must be received within 7 days of return approval. E. Ria Designs must be contacted within 48 hours of receipt of purchase to qualify for a return. The USPS tracking "delivered" timestamp will be used for reference. Items must be returned in new quality, unworn and undamaged. A 25% restocking fee will be incurred upon return of new quality goods regardless of the reason for return.
HAND CRAFTED QUALITY - The unique characteristics of handmade jewelry give it charm. E. Ria Designs pieces are intended to display that charm. I do not intend for my jewelry to look "mass produced" or "factory manufactured". So...variations in one to piece to another will be present. Variations from one earring to the other in a set will be present. The nest pendant/necklaces, by nature (no pun intended), will each be unique, with variations in "twig" shape, style, placement and look. Although most turn out quite similar, each will have its own characteristics. Please be aware of this when ordering.
SHIPPING REFUNDS - No shipping refunds will be allowed as I can not recoup any funds from the USPS or other carriers. So, even if an exchange is made for a custom item, the buyer assumes all shipping fees to and from E. Ria Designs.

Please contact me if there is information specific and unique to your purchase (i.e. purchase is being shipped to address different than on Paypal account, item needs unique personalization, etc.)
For communication, please use the Etsy convo system so a permanent record is kept with your order. Off-Etsy emails, Facebook messages and other non-Etsy communication is difficult to keep track of since it is not associated with your particular order/invoice. I always strive to be in good contact with customers and I hope you can, too:)
