About ESSOYA
25 Years in Making Candles
In 1994 Michelle and Stephen were working at The Candle Factory
in San Rafael CA. Michelle worked in the retail/production and Stephen worked in shipping and production so we learned the ins and outs of running a candle co.
Around the end of 1994 we started to experiment with our own ideas with aromatherapy in the candle shop and have been going ever since.
We always have had an eco-friendly approach. Essoya is earth friendly and uses eco-friendly product materials and packaging materials as well as shipping boxes and shopping bags made from recycled material. We also offset most of our carbon footprint by using only cfl lighting, energy-star rated office equipment, green website hosting (powered by wind and sun).
