    About EVequineart

    Sales 2
    On Etsy since 2016

I am a self-taught (mostly!) artist living in the Macedon Ranges area (Victoria, Australia) with a couple of horses, a couple of sheep, and a couple of dogs (not to forget about the OH and the daughter!). I am a scientist by trade, but have always been good at drawing, and it turned out that I'm not too bad at drawing animals. I first opened my Etsy shop in mid-2016 but didn't really do much with it, and have relaunched it recently, to see it will take me. I offer original completed drawings as they are available, and archival giclee prints. I am also available for custom artwork commissions.

    Frequently asked questions
    Custom and personalised orders

Drawing is a slow process that allows a high degree of detail to be captured. It is typical for my works to take 20-60 hours (or more!) to complete. Therefore, it may take 2 or more months to complete a commission drawing, depending on size, subjects, and waiting list. I can provide an estimated completion date on request.

    Copyright

Copyright of artwork is retained by myself.

    Cancellations for Custom Artwork

Custom artwork orders may be cancelled prior to commencement of work on the artwork.

The commissioning process for a custom artwork is a collaborative effort between the artist and the purchaser. A photograph of the completed work will be provided prior to payment - this is the final step at which changes can be made.

Ordering process for a custom artwork

    1. Contact me to discuss the project: size, medium, composition, background, and estimated completion date. I will need to view the reference photograph (note: clear photographs that are in focus and well lit will enable more detail to be captured in the drawing!). A deposit is required prior to starting to purchase materials.

    2. I can provide sketches and updates throughout the process. I will supply a photo of the completed work for approval - this is the final opportunity to make changes.

    3. The remaining balance is paid once the final artwork has been approved.

    4. Once the work is paid for, I will arrange shipping via Australia Post.
