Beyond expectations! We bought this item to cover our o-l-d, white(ish) dishwasher, and are very pleased with the results. This is a two-person job, in my opinion, but the material is very forgiving in that you can easily pull it away from the appliance you're covering to make any corrections if needed. We also found that we did not need a straight-edge tool, and were easily able to smooth out any bubbles with our hands as we went along. Lastly, the color/shade is perfect - not too bright or shiny & blends well with our other stainless steel appliances. (Sorry ..in the photo you will see an area we couldn't cover due to the electrical pad & ventilation - but it looks sooo much better than it did before).

this product worked so great, I honestly had no idea what I was doing and needed to cover up an old formica countertop. I asked my handyman if he could do it, and next thing you know voila brand new countertop in my clients condo. would recommend for application and aesthetics, not sure about durability since we just applied it but it looks great!

EZ Faux Décor's Bubble Resistant Self Adhesive PVC Granite Film assists you in creating NEW looks and/or repairing the appearance of existing surfaces.

EZ Faux Decor's Bubble Resistant Self Adhesive PVC Granite Film has a peel-away backing with measure and grid lines to make it easy for YOU to install.

EZ Faux Decor's Bubble Resistant Self Adhesive PVC Granite Film has been manufactured in an ISO 9001 Certified Facility which provides high-quality products consistently.

EZ Faux Decor's Bubble Resistant Self Adhesive PVC Granite Film is manufactured using a 5-step process. The PVC Film has a transparent top coat for durability, printed image, durable base, non-toxic water-based adhesive is applied then the tear away baking. The adhesive allows Self Adhesive PVC Granite Film to be repositioned during installation and removable without adhesive residue.

Application Q & A

Tools Needed
Working with Softmetal film is relatively easy. Special tools are not necessary. A pencil, a ruler, a squeegee, scissors, and a sharp knife are all you need. A hairdryer or heat gun is a must for corners! Special skills are not required. Anyone can install this product.

Surface Preparation
If there is one area to place your focus prior to installation, it is surface preparation! Most failed installations happen as a result of poor surface preparation. Please take the time necessary to completely smooth and clean the mating surface. Rough surfaces should be sanded smooth and cleaned of dust. The entire mating surface then should be cleaned twice.

What surfaces can your Self Adhesive PVC/PET Film be applied to?

Most any surfaces, wood, plastics, acrylics, fiberglass, laminates, glass, mirrors

Will it work on textured surfaces?

Our ﬁlm is a heavy gauge PVC ﬁlm. It is twice as thick as most brands. The ﬁlm is thick enough to cover most scratches and texture. If you have grout lines or deep grooves we suggest ﬁlling in with acrylic caulk and smooth it out ﬁrst.

Can you cut directly on it?

You will want to protect it as you would with any other countertop. We always recommend a cutting board.

How do I remove the ﬁlm?

Our ﬁlm is made with a water-based adhesive. This allows fast easy and removal without sticky residue. We recommend using a blow dryer to heat up one corner of the ﬁlm, take a hold of it and pull it all up at once. Use any household cleaner to spray and clean your surface.
