Announcement   Hello and welcome to my shop here at Etsy. The personal objects you will find here were made from start to finish, one at a time, here in my studio. All are the results of conversations between myself, the materials and the living eairth we share together. They are expressions of soul. They are expressions of love. I offer them here to you. May they bring you some measure of the Joy I have discovered in the process. Blessings to you all.

I did not purchase the original item as it was too large for me, although exquisite. Magnus worked with me to create a smaller version which I absolutely love! He was so good to work with, and the pendant is a real treasure. Magnus is so creative and a true artist. I encourage everyone to explore his work! Both he and his work are gems!

About

Reconnecting Humans to the Eairth - (land and air we live in) - is what we need most.

I have been a stone carver and metalsmith for over 40 years now. I am a maker of fine personal objects using silver, bronze, gold, steel, antler, stone, bone, gemstones, leather and woods.
The works are results of conversations between myself, the materials, and the Eairth we live in and share our Lives with. They are expressions of Soul. They are expressions of Love. I offer them here to you. May they bring you some measure of the Joy I discovered in the making .

My shop?
Well, you might say that My Shop, like the proverbial Home is where my Heart is.
That said, one does need a place for the tools and the materials
and equipment and oneself while the work is being done. In my own case, that has evolved over the span of 40 years and my expanding skills and interests. (I am currently designing a separate studio building to be built on site because I have begun to forge steel and I need an earthen floor fire-safe space for that.) Living in the countryside at the edge of the woods allows for the evolution in terms of space and relation to Nature Herself. Our animal family includes indoor cats, a dog, a llama, 2 goats, many chickens, and a host of wild creatures in our very back yard and beyond. But we are still tied in directly to the "money economy" and will be yet for a while I should think.
So there is also the need of making a living with the objects one makes. In the current conditions of Western World, that means mostly selling them for the money you need. To that end I truly appreciate the support of my work by so many amazing and beautiful people. Thank you all!
I have sold my work in galleries, stores,Portland Saturday Market, Shows etc. All these can and do add to my income, but require a lot of travel time and expense.
We discovered Etsy some time back - it has allowed me to spend more time in the woods and studio and less time in a car and I am very pleased to be a part of this process of allowing Art Energy to flow between humans around the Eairth. I hope to be putting more energy into this Etsy adventure as the momentum builds. May Etsy remain true to it's Roots.
Always feel free to contact me for questions, info or requests.
Bright Blessings All!
