Homemade creations from my hands to yours
I started my shop on Dec. 16th, 2024.
I have always loved creating things and expressing myself artistically and bringing people joy by doing that. Out of the blue I fell in love with making these silly fun little earrings, so here we are!
I hand make earrings using perler beads (I grew up calling them fuse beads) and earring hardware.
As a kid I went to the local boys and girls club where they had a craft room with a fuse beads table. I fell in love with them, so I went almost everyday to play with them, creating any random thing I wanted. I had completely forgotten they existed until I met some friends here in Denver who like to go to festivals/raves and fuse beads were everywhere, as bracelets, cat ears, keychains, everything. I got really excited because it reminded me of my childhood, so I put a mini fuse bead kit on my Amazon birthday wish list for October 2024, and my stepmom bought it for me. From there I went crazy, making random things for no reason until I realized I should make earrings. I did what anyone else would do and went to google. I ran out of beads at one point, went to Amazon to order more, and it escalated from there, with me getting the bags, stickers, anything I thought I’d need. I had everything bagged up, good to go and went ahead asking my friends if they would like any and I sold 20 pairs in a week and a half. I kept getting asked “Where can we shout you out”? “How can people find you”? I hadn’t thought about that, but it sparked my journey here on Etsy.
I have a few small health problems that can make it difficult to create the earrings such as a random tremor, fibromyalgia, and carpal tunnel. Sometimes I physically can’t make anymore, even if I’ve only made 3, but if I’m able to push through I do because I love to make them and I really want to make people happy and have fun with unique jewelry.
