Announcement   Wire wrapped jewelry and wearable art made from NW native stones such as agate, jade, opal, quartz, petrified wood, jasper and obsidian. Each stone is hand shaped and polished to bring out the unique patterns and stories within, then wrapped with flowing lines reflecting the waters and mountains near which they were found. I try to capture and present the unique spirit of each stone that I shape and every single piece I do is a one of kind wrap. I do not use pre- manufactured pieces in any of my work.

About

How a Love Becomes a Business

I've always loved collecting rocks and minerals. After moving back to Washington I began fly fishing Puget Sound and during my beach walking I began discovering beautiful agates and even native jade. I eventually had so many I didn't know what to do with them! I bought a tumbler, then a rock saw and then I made my own lapidary equipment to polish them.

Wire wrapping was the next step and it was a natural fit for me since I believe each stone has it's own spirit and I wanted to ensure that I could highlight the unique story in every stone. It's nearly impossible to do wire wrapping properly and do any pre- manufacturing. I'm a strong believer in truly handmade products. If you ever see wire wraps that look exactly the same, beware they are not handmade!

Since I'm also a landscape painter I've been able to translate my love of place into my jewelry and every piece reflects the natural beauty of the rivers, trees and ocean. I feel fortunate to found a way of sharing my love of the outdoors and the great Pacific Northwest through my shop and the pieces I sell :-)
