Absolutely beautiful. I love to hold them and it is very comforting to have them on my person. They remind me to practice ma'at and many of the instructions. Thank you!

These are the best Wiccan/pagan prayer beads I've found yet, and I've bought several sets in different layouts. The bead size is just right for using the prayer beads without having to look at each bead. The tree charm is good quality and attractive. The most important feature to me, aside from the layout, is the fact that the beads are strung on wire, so I don't worry about breaking them. The colors shown in the picture are true. The artist's website offers sample prayers. You can, of course, create your own. You'll especially like these beads if you come from a Catholic background and are used to rosaries and chaplets.

One of my favorite meditation strands. Customized by the seller with a pendant I requested. The front of the round pendant is finished and smooth, while the back of the pendant is rougher and less finished. The meditation strand is beautiful, easy to use, and feels positive.

About

Earth Water Spirit

Prayer beads and knotted cords have been used throughout the world by almost all religions as a way to keep track of prayers, focus the mind, and devote oneself more fully to the Divine. Since I was a child and saw my first rosary in a Catholic friend's bedroom, I have been fascinated by the use of prayer beads and rosaries. In 2004 my spiritual searching led me to Paganism, first through Wicca, and then with a focus on women's and Goddess spirituality. Eventually, I discovered a couple of books about Pagan prayer beads, and I was thrilled--I could combine my devotion to Goddess with my love of praying with beads!

I had been making beaded jewelry since high school, so I pulled out my tools and got to work making my first Goddess rosary. At first I made my prayer beads using flexible beading wire, but over the years I also learned to make knotted rosaries and wire rosaries. Wire rosaries are my favorite type to make and use, and constitute the bulk of what you will find in my shop, but I may include knotted rosaries in the shop as well when I'm inspired to make them. I would be happy to make a custom knotted rosary at any time.

I love every aspect of making rosaries and prayer beads, from choosing the beautiful, sparkling beads that I will use to adding the pendant that feels "just right" for the finished rosary. For me, making each rosary becomes a meditation and an act of devotion--I get excited every time I sit down to make a new one! I work mainly with glass beads because they make gorgeous prayer beads, and they have a clear, bright energy that is a pleasure to work with. However, I also use gemstone beads upon occasion, and I also love the energy of these natural gifts from Mother Earth.

Why use a rosary or prayer beads? Because much like lighting a candle or ringing a bell before you pray or meditate, just picking up your beads can help guide you into a more mindful, prayerful place. Sometimes just taking my beads out of my pocket and holding them when I feel stressed can help me take a deep breath, relax, and feel more calm and centered. The act of praying with beads, feeling each one move through your fingers, becomes a ritual in itself, helping to keep your mind and heart on your prayers. A beautiful rosary calls out to you to pick it up, move it through your fingers, and to open your heart to the Sacred in prayer.

My desire is to live a life of connection to the Sacred, who for me is Goddess, every day. My sincere hope is that the beads I make can become a beloved tool that helps you find the Sacred in your every day life, too. Blessed be!

I'm an artisan, artist, nature lover and devotee of Goddess spirituality. I love to create, and don't feel complete until I've worked on a creative project each day. I also love to read, hike, knit, and spend as much time outside as possible.
