Welcome to Earth Wind & Pyre!
My name is Hayley and I live in Texas with my daughter, Julie.
I have been making soy candles since 2014 for friends and family but 2016 is when I started to devote more time (and more money) to my passion.

I have worked with many different waxes, scents and distributors. I have experimented, tested and researched in order to fill my shop with high quality, nontoxic products at an affordable price.

I love creating unique and beautiful things for people: scents that create a moment and feeling, bring a flash of nostalgia or bring healing energy to your home.

I use beautiful, repurposed containers: ceramic coffee mugs, antique teacups, mason jars and turn them into candles.
When you are done with the candle, you can melt down the remaining wax and reuse container.
You can create your own candle with it, fill it with coffee or tea, put a small succulent garden in it etc.

I purchase only from distributors who hold the same values that Earth Wind & Pyre does: Prioritizing Health & Wellness and always being conscious of our planet.
At Earth Wind & Pyre, we strive to create minimal waste and my products are made from all natural, environmentally responsible materials.

For years, I would purchase inexpensive, paraffin candles from places like Walmart or the grocery store. They smelled okay but burned very quickly and released harmful toxins into my home like Phthalates & Carcinogens.

Phthalates belong to a family of industrial chemicals found in everyday things like cosmetics, detergents, soaps, nail polish & can damage the liver, kidney, lungs etc.

For more information on Phthalates and a list of common household items that contain Phthalates, visit:

Carcinogens are substances and exposures capable of causing cancer in living tissue. Candles are often made using Paraffin wax that is made from Petroleum. Petroleum is a carcinogen and when you burn a paraffin wax candle in your home, it releases cancer causing agents into the air.

Care instructions

Store in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.
It may be necessary to trim your candle's wick.

The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax to burn all the way to the edges of the container to extend it's life and prevent tunneling.

Keep the lid on whenever possible to preserve fragrance.
