Our most important policy is honesty, we like to think that we make an honest product from honest materials.
We purchase the leathers that we use for our journals from local companies. Our leathers originate from developed countries where people are paid a fair wage and are protected by health and safety regulations. This also ensures that the leathers are tanned well and will not deteriorate.
We're proud to say that our paper is 100% recycled from unbleached post-consumer waste, which saves water, energy and trees. It has won awards for it's high environmental standards and is endorsed by Greenpeace. Best of all it's a great paper of archival quality which means that it will last for hundreds of years. This is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations.
We make all of our journals to order and when you buy one we will be making it especially for you.
Any WRAPAROUND JOURNALS ordered now will be shipped on MONDAY 29th FEBRUARY.
Our CARVED BOOKS and PLAIN CLASSICS will be shipped on MONDAY 29th FEBRUARY.
Orders to the US and Canada will be sent by Royal Mail Airsure. This is a fully trackable and insured service and should arrive approximately one week after shipping.
Orders within the UK will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery and should reach you within two working days of posting. This service is insured and trackable.
Orders anywhere els in the world will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail. This is a standard, non-trackable service and should reach you within five working days of posting. If you would like your parcel to be insured or trackable then please contact us for prices.
Refunds and Exchanges
Almost every single one of our orders is problem free but if you are at all worried about what happens if there is a problem then please have a read through these policies:
As we make each item to order we will only accept a cancellation of an order within 7 days of the order being placed and/or if we have not yet begun work on the order.
FAULTY , DAMAGED OR LOST ~
We will give a full refund including return postage costs on any item if it is faulty, damaged or lost in the post.
If you believe your item is lost in the post then please give it time to arrive, Royal Mail does not consider an item to be lost until 15 business days after the expected delivery date. A refund will be made after this time.
We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss if an item is lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
Incorrect postal addresses given by the customer or failure of the customer to collect their parcel from their local collection office will not be considered grounds for refund.
REMORSE RETURNS ~
As each item is custom made to order we are not obliged to accept remorse returns.
We try to describe each item fully both in the description and in the photographs. If you have any particular requirements or questions about the item then please get in touch before ordering to make sure you receive what you are expecting.
As we're a small company and we put a great amount of care and time into making each item we hope you can understand why we do not offer remorse returns.
