The mug he sent us is the perfect size and weight (solid, but not overly heavy), has a great handle that is comfortable to hold, and is finished with whimsical Green Ember details that are just fantastic. The bunny ears bring so much delight to my young kids during our daily “snack and story” time. What’s more, he goes above and beyond to serve us as his customers. That combination is priceless! Love supporting an artist and my kids especially love having an “Eefaw Potter original” given that they are fans of the Green Ember series and they enjoy the quirky character in the series who is named after Eddy. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This mug will bring joy and delight for many, many years to come!

5 out of 5 starsSeller was fantastic to work with, as I changed my mind at the last minute, to choose a alternative mug from his collection. The mugs seems almost delicate in their attention to details and craft, yet somehow have the heft and fortitude for me to feel great putting them in the dishwasher. Each time we use our mugs we feel loved. (Is that ridiculous?) This is a purchase we will be grateful for for a long time. I see many mugs in the future for our gift giving. Excellent!

I like the compact design of this cup; it is a wonderful contrast to the rest of my cupboard which is generally larger/heavier.

From West Virginia Down To Tennessee
I was born in Fairmont, West Virginia and it was here that I learned to love nature and art. I earned a bachelor's degree in Art Education from Fairmont State College. During my college days I took classes in drawing, oil painting, watercolor . . . all the basics. I was also required to take a ceramics class and I was NOT happy about it. I thought I would hate pottery but as soon as my hands touched the clay I was hooked! Since then I've always dreamed of being a full-time potter. Currently I still have my day job teaching visual arts and pottery to high school students but this site is still a dream come true for me. At some point after moving to Memphis, Tennessee in 1995 I became curious about making things out of wood. I have always been amazed at the inherent beauty in the grain of wood and taken back by how a well sanded piece feels so satisfying in your hands. Recently I purchased some spoon carving tools and this new addiction has been competing with my love for pottery ever since. From WV down to TN my love for nature and art have intertwined in a way that bring me joy beyond compare. My hope is that the pieces you see here bring you some joy as well.
