My Nursing School Struggle
Cuando me mudé a Estados Unidos como inmigrante recién llegada, llegué con grandes sueños, pero con muy poco apoyo. Me lancé a la escuela de enfermería con esperanza y determinación, pero la realidad me golpeó fuerte. Las clases eran aceleradas, los términos médicos eran nuevos y conciliar la escuela, el trabajo y la vida personal se sentía casi imposible.
Hubo días en que lloré por las preguntas de práctica, noches en que me desvelé memorizando medicamentos y momentos en que me pregunté si realmente encajaba en la enfermería como un inmigrante recién llegado. El inglés no era mi lengua materna, y todo se sentía el doble de difícil. Pero me negué a rendirme.
Poco a poco, creé mis propias técnicas de estudio: apuntes simplificados, preguntas de práctica y plantillas que me ayudaron a comprender temas difíciles. Empecé a aprobar exámenes que antes había reprobado. Mi confianza aumentó. Y finalmente... aprobé la escuela de enfermería y me convertí en enfermera.
Ese viaje me cambió la vida. Y también me dio una misión.
Sabía que había otros estudiantes —inmigrantes, padres solteros, adultos ocupados y estudiantes con dificultades— que simplemente necesitaban las herramientas y el apoyo adecuados. Así que abrí esta tienda de Etsy para compartir los mismos recursos de estudio, exámenes de práctica y guías que me ayudaron a tener éxito.
Hoy, cada producto de mi tienda se crea con amor, compasión y la convicción de que tú también puedes lograrlo. Ya sea que estés estudiando para los exámenes ATI TEAS, HESI-A2, NCLEX-RN/PN o para la escuela de enfermería, quiero que tu camino sea más fácil que el mío.

When I moved to the United States as a new immigrant, I came with big dreams-but very little support. I jumped into nursing school with hope and determination, but the reality hit me hard. The classes were fast-paced, the medical terms were new, and balancing school, work, and life felt almost impossible.
There were days I cried over practice questions, nights I stayed awake memorizing medications, and moments when I questioned if I truly belonged in nursing as a new male immigrant. English wasn’t my first language, and everything felt twice as hard. But I refused to give up.
Little by little, I created my own study techniques-simplified notes, practice questions, and templates that helped me understand difficult topics. I started passing exams I once failed. My confidence grew. And finally… I passed nursing school and became a nurse.
That journey changed my life. And it also gave me a mission.
I knew there were other students-immigrants, single parents, busy adults, and struggling learners-who just needed the right tools and encouragement. So I started this Etsy shop to share the same study resources, practice exams, and guides that helped me succeed.
