Hello, I'm Robin Dement and I'm a knitter. I've been knitting for about 20 years and I'm still amazed that I can use two sticks and a ball of yarn and make something wearable and useful.
When I was kid we went on a school trip to a local museum where they had an absolutely gorgeous knitted bead spread. I decided then and there I was going to learn to knit. Fast forward several years, after getting married and having my three children, I finally decided to learn to knit. I went to the library, got some books, needles and yarn and together with my sister figured out how to knit. I started with a scarf, moved on to hats and moved on to baby items. I'm currently into knitting lace scarves, shawls and baskets. who knows where I'll go next. Color, texture and the soft yarns are what inspire me to keep knitting.
