About

A one-woman operation out of Waco, Tx

Edmund and Ambrose runs out of a small studio nestled next to my kitchen. From there I paint all of my peg dolls and run my home.

I have two lines of peg dolls. Line A is my toy line. The peg toys are very simple shapes and bright colors. I have painted anything from custom families for doll houses, to custom saints for small ones to carry with them. These are coated in several layers of thick clear acrylic gloss to protect the paint from all the adventures and rough love the receive from their owners.

Line B, is my more detailed byzantine icon inspired pegs. I use techniques similar to those used to paint byzantine icons to make the peg doll saints. They are also coated in several layers of thick acrylic gloss to protect the paint job, and thus may also be played with as toys. However, most seem to enjoy them as collectible pieces to give as presents for religious events and holidays or for their own mantles and bookshelves for display.
