Announcement   I have been quite creative with new and interesting patterns for baby blankets and I appreciate my Etsy customers. I was a 24/7 caregiver for my husband of over 63 years. During my down-time, I would sit near him and knit while we talked, watched TV or just enjoyed quiet time. It is necessary for him to be in Hospice Care so because of that I have more time and I will be more active in my shop. I also am listing more of our vintage items...so continue checking back in my shop...you may find your special item.

About

I am a SENIOR Citizen who enjoys knitting and hoping you will too......also vintage items....

We had inherited vintage items after my husband's sister died. She had many items from their parents and grandparents. I also had items my parents. One only needs so much. Then we started to downsize and oh my.

I started my shop several years ago when I realized there was this wonderful place called Etsy. I started out with mostly vintage.

Then when a lot of our vintage items were sold I decided to try to sell some of my Hand Knitted items. This too has become a wonderful place for me to share my knitting with others..

I am now 82 years old....we have been married almost 63 years...and I am his caregiver 24/7. I do have some "down" time and he loves it when I am sitting next to him knitting or reading....therefore, so many items.

I have been knitting now for over 70 years. Have been married for over 62 years. I love taking a ball of yarn and making something beautiful and useful from it. I make all of the handmade items in my shop.

Hello and "thank you" for visiting my shop called Edna's Closet.

I learned to knit when I was about 10 years old and have been knitting now for about 70 years...WOW...where did that time go.

I am very pleased to have found Etsy and am able to sell items to earn a bit of money and also to help people enjoy hand crafted items.

I do have some vintage items and will be adding more. The vintage items are from my parents as well as my husband's parents....He is 87 and I am 82 so the items are really "vintage".

I do like it when you visit my shop and favorite items....THANK YOU!!!!
