I got exactly what I ordered, and these came in on time, something I was impressed with considering the plates and bowls shipped from New Zealand to the United States. One bowl was broken clean in half, but I was able to glue it back together. Thanks again!

About

...

Welcome. Haere mai.

When I was a child my family moved a lot but my imaginary friend Ee Ee, a giant but kind, hairy monster and his weird critter friends always found a new wardrobe or the same chest of drawers to live under.

I kept on moving and exploring. I have been living and travelling around Australia the last few years. Before that, UK... and somehow managed to buy many trinkets that were too good to leave behind at assorted garage sales, antique stores, charity shops, fairs and fetes...

Then I came home to New Zealand to live just a few months ago and have been snorfling around any markets, secondhand, antique stores I find in between visiting family and friends on each island. I need to share these 20th century treasures with others as my new home is too little. Plus this Etsy shop helps fund one of my favourite hobbies. Treasure hunting!

I'm always open to feedback and requests from down here/over there.

Hello and Kia Ora from (almost) the bottom of the world. I have been living and travelling around Australia the last few years. Before that, UK... and somehow managed to buy many trinkets that were too good to leave behind at assorted garage sales, antique stores, charity shops, fairs and fetes...

I've been an etsy customer since 2010 but this shop is very new and was opened on 2 July 2012. I'm always open to feedback and requests from down here/over there.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
I pack and ship orders in 1-3 working days after payment (usually Wednesday to Friday). I reuse packaging (like bubble wrap and cardboard boxes) as much as I can.

I use Paypal only. Please keep in mind that you don't have to be a member of Paypal to use visa or mastercard through them.
Shipping
I use NZ Post for shipping at standard rates.

If you would prefer your item to be tracked, please convo or email me and we can arrange extra payment after I get an exact quote (which should take 24 hours, unless of course, it's the weekend).

NZ Post claim to take 10-14 days for international deliveries but like most places, things can be delayed... especially before Christmas. Please contact me if you are really concerned after 2 weeks. Together we can figure something out. I'll harass the Post Shop people this end, if you harass yours :) For New Zealanders and Australians, it should be a lot quicker! So contact me sooner if you think it is taking too long to arrive.
Refunds and Exchanges
I sell vintage. It is meant to be "matured" but I do my best to give an accurate picture and description. I want you to be happy though so I will refund the item if it arrives back in the condition it was sent in. You will be responsible for the postage back but I will refund the product.

Sometimes things get damaged in the post. Sad but true. It is the responsibility of the postal services normally but I will refund 50% of the item's price to help mop up the tears of disappointment if you send me photos of the damage.
