All of my ceramic pieces are handmade. I use many glazes in many different ways, and resist the urge to repeat the process, this means that any item you see cannot be reproduced exactly, there will be variations, that's why each piece is unique.

Finally got a chance to unwrap my package and see my new mug in person! It is lovely and I know it will get much use when I drink my morning earl grey! :)

Seller is very kind and personable! The mugs are truly one-of-a-kind and like little pieces of art!

About

A Brit from across the pond

Click on the Shop Blog link to the right and watch a video that says it all...

I'm a British designer, now living in America since 1997.
I sculpted professionally with John Hine Ltd. in the UK, but It was in California that clay became my passion. My formal studies at GCC opened up new worlds of expression for me, which spurred me on to build a home studio, so I could dedicate more time to my craft.
Color and texture have always played an important roll in my life. Traveling through Europe in my formative years, I was fascinated by the wonderful tapestries, paintings and sculptures I encountered, and it has been a major influence in my work.
The art of sgraffito, (carving through two different layers of colored clay slip to reveal a design) has been a consistent fascination, and I use it it many of my pieces.
I love to work quietly, carving my latest designs with the birds singing from the mountains nearby.
My challenge for the future is to create objects of lasting beauty, that excite me and hopefully others.

Within the United States: Pieces over 13 ounces ship via USPS Priority Mail, pieces 13 ounces and under ship via USPS First Class Mail. Combined purchases, if over 5 pounds, ship via UPS, it's much cheaper the heavier and larger the package to ship UPS. Please make sure your paypal address matches your etsy account address to ensure the package gets to you promptly. Any discrepancies in these two addresses will hold up shipping until I have received verification from you as to where to ship.
International Shipping-
I will gladly ship internationally. Please contact me and I will research the shipping cost to your country. Seller is not responsible for any taxes/custom fees/duties that maybe be charged by the customs of your country.
