Elegant EarCuffs by Fiona offers ear jewelry for young ladies of all ages, and particularly ladies, like myself, who cannot or choose not to wear clip-on earrings or earrings for pierced ears. My designs combine the cuff design of ear cuffs and incorporate elements of traditional earrings.

I have developed a variety of designs which are understated, pretty Ear Cuffs, some very sparkly using crystals, while others with a more muted look using semi-precious stones. Some designs sit on the ear and others also hang down, all the while ensuring the ear cuffs are comfortable and secure. By using different combinations of stones, crystals and metals, the ear cuffs range from very glamorous to a subtle delicate accessory. My goal is not to overwhelm the wearer or the viewer, but as the shop name suggests, design Elegant EarCuffs at an affordable price that are fun and easy to wear.

I am also a wife and Mom of our fabulous 19 year old son. My other passion is art. I use water-based oils and my paintings are detailed in nature, and this talent helps me with my attention to detail in my designs and color combinations in my ear cuffs.

Q: What metals do you use?
A: I use all metals, brass, copper, silver and gold-filled wire. My descriptions on Etsy define exactly what each pair of ear cuffs are made of.

Q: Will they fall off?
A: Gravity is what keeps earcuffs in place. However, you can give the earcuffs a pinch to give them a tighter hold, but you may not have to, and there should still be no discomfort as this part of the ear is less sensitive. Like all ear jewelry, if you're doing cartwheels or jumping on a trampoline, there's a chance you will lose them, but in everyday wear, they are quite secure. If you do lose one, I can replace it for you.

Q: Are they comfortable?
A: When my customers try on a pair of ear cuffs, my question is always, "How do they feel?" They tell me either, "They feel fine," or "I don't feel a thing!" My EarCuffs are worn on a part of the ear where there is cartilage to provide support. This is why there is no uncomfortable pinching like clip-ons on the fleshy ear lobes.

Q: Do you need pierced ears?
A: Although some of my designs may look like you have your ears pierced, no piercings are necessary. I don't have any holes and I can wear the entire collection. In fact, the designs are very beneficial to those who have split ear holes or stretched ear lobes (my longer designs) that have developed over a period of time.

Q: What quality of beads do you use?
A: I try to be completely transparent about every product I use in my Etsy descriptions. With the Sterling and Gold-filled wire, I use Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones and sterling and gold-filled wire. Please read the design description. Q: Do you do custom work?

I have designed a number of pieces for weddings, for brides, bridesmaids, and for mothers of the bridal couple.

Q: How should I clean my ear cuffs?
A: Delicately wash them in soapy water and they will shine up nicely. A sonic jewelry cleaning machine will do the job as well. This should also keep the protective coating intact as well.
