Announcement   ***SHIPPING DATES: I will be out of town from mid-week to the first week of March. Last shipping date before I leave will be Tuesday, February 28. You can place an order, and it will be shipped on Monday, March 6.***

Rustic, boho handmade jewelry, featuring genuine turquoise from America and Mexico; authentic sea glass, natural gems, stones and pearls; unique Czech glass beads, Kazuri beads from Africa. One of a kind pieces from my imagination to you!

Please note that all of my items are designed and handmade by me. I source out supplies such as artisan made earring wires, artisan made pendants, charms and beads. Otherwise all designs come from my own imagination, and are put together and created by my own two hands. Please support 100% handmade artists!

My 'Elementals' section is my cornerstone, and reflects my love of nature, whimsy and a little bit of the mystic.

Sea glass absolutely enchants me, and the thought of repurposing an item that has been washed and tumbled by the sea is very 'eco-conscious'! All of my sea glass has been sold to me as authentic, surf-tumbled sea glass; no 'recycled' glass here!

All of my turquoise has been purchased from reputable dealers who can verify its origin, and the actual mine where it was produced. 'Generic' turquoise is labelled as either American, Mexican or Chinese, and howlite and magnesite are also marked.

Mother Nature has truly given us an array of natural stones and minerals in an amazing array of colors and shades for me to work with; my aim is to show the stones to their very best advantage. Likewise, freshwater pearls, in all their natural shapes, with some enhanced color, provide interesting focus in my jewelry.

I discovered Czech glass beads early in my jewelry making adventure, and they immediately won my heart. The varieties of size, color, shape, and finishes provide an almost endless stream of creative ideas for these beautiful beads!

About

My life in jewelry

My shop began as a gift certificate for jewelry making classes from my dear husband for Christmas. I fell into it with a passion, and soon began making jewelry for my friends in our Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club. My Etsy shop was the first marketplace for my dog lovers jewelry.

All of my work is designed by me and crafted by my own two hands. While I gather components from other artisans, such as a clay pendant or lampwork bead, my vision of how that bead or pendant would look on a piece of jewelry is completely my idea.

Components such as turquoise and sea glass are utilized, after careful searching to make sure that component is as authentic as I can verify. I use mainly American and Mexican turquoise, with a bit of authentic Chinese and Tibetan; many times I can provide provenance by stating where the turquoise was mined, either by the mine name itself, or by region. Sea glass and beach pebbles are purchased from reputable dealers around the globe who collect, not manufacture their sea glass.

Many of my supplies are artisan made and handcrafted, and you will see some unusual earring wires, beads, and component pieces. In doing so, I am not only supporting my craft but supporting those wonderful artists who craft their own components.

My pledge is that my designs will remain 100% handcrafted by me. I hope you enjoy my journey in jewelry as you browse my shop! Please visit my website, where I have begun a blog to feature more information about turquoise, sea glass and other materials I have used: www.elementalsjw.com

Please join me in my journey to create fun and whimsical pieces of jewelry, inspired by my love of color, nature, and my two wonderful Shiloh Shepherd dogs. I am a one woman shop, and will continue to be. I have no desire to send my ideas and creations to manufacturers for mass produced items. I use only the best quality silver plated brass, and base metal components, as well as a new line of sterling silver pieces, genuine turquoise from America and around the world, authentic sea glass collected from global beaches, as well as semiprecious gemstones.
