Where the Five Elements, Imagination, Inspiration and a Little Magic Meet...

My name is Kimberley Greeno and I am a professional artist and the owner/creator of "Elements Five", "Happy Gals Vintage", "Crystal Wand Maker" and "Lake Fire Collection" - four shops here on Etsy. I love working with crystals, clay, wood, wire and paint to create beautiful and spiritually charged items. I draw my inspiration from a lifelong love and respect for our Earth and the Natural World. I adore vintage and antique pieces that have a real sense of history and a personality all their own. I have been selling my own art, handmade jewelry, wands and various vintage and antique collectibles online since 2011. With over 3200 sales under my belt and and hundreds and hundreds of five star customer reviews, I am a seller you can always trust to deliver beautiful handmade and vintage items right to your door in a safe and timely manner.

All returns must be in brand new condition, and must include all original parts, packaging and packing materials. Please notify me in writing prior to shipping any return.

If, under the guidelines above, the item arrives back to me in the same condition you received it, you will receive a 100% credit. However, if there are scratches or other damage to the item due to handling or return shipping problems, I will be unable to provide a full credit.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards for payment, as well as PayPal and Etsy gift Cards. Once an order is placed online at my store, it cannot be canceled or altered, but items purchased here can be returned within 15 days for any reason, (please see refund policy below). For those orders shipping to locations within the state of Vermont, a 6% sales tax charge will apply.
Shipping
Our goal is to ship orders within 2 to 3 business days of all orders being placed. If there is going to be a longer delay for some reason, we will contact you directly to let you know why and how long of a delay.

At this time we ship within the USA and Canada as well as internationally. All items being shipped to destinations within the USA are sent by the US Postal Service using US Priority (for smaller items) or US Parcel Select (for oversized larger items).

Orders being shipped to Canada and other countries are sent by US Postal Service International First Class Mail.

Import taxes of one kind or another may be due to your government and or its postal service at the time your package is delivered. International customs clearance can be a complicated and bureaucratic process. USPS always tries to streamline the process for you, but it can still be frustrating when fees are added or packages are held at the border. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to understand the shipping and clearance policies of your own governments customs agencies.

Packages typically arrive in Canada within one or three weeks. For packages to arrive to other International locations can take much longer, but generally should not take much more than a month.

Packages will not be considered lost until 60 days have passed since the day the package was shipped. At that point if the package cannot be found a replacement will be sent (if available), or, (as if in the case that the item ordered was a one of a kind original) a full refund for your order will be issued.

Because the items we are selling are precious and often one of a kind we make every attempt to pack them as well and carefully as possible for shipping. However, we do not have control over unusual circumstances that might occur in transit, so we insure all items being shipped for their full purchase cost. This insurance is calculated into the cost of shipping.

Proper Care of an Original Acrylic Painting

Acrylic paintings have a long life and can be great investment for the art collector or first time art buyer. They retain their radiance as long or longer than oil paints and can last beautifully for generations with proper care. Please keep in mind the following guidelines for optimum care of your original acrylic painting:

1) Avoid handling of the surface of the painting. Your skin’s oils contain acids which can damage the artwork if if it is touched or rubbed. Acrylic is also pressure sensitive. It is recommended not to apply your fingernails to the acrylic as it can dent the surface.

2) Keep your painting at room temperature. Extreme cold or heat can damage your artwork. Acrylic paint is sensitive to heat and should be kept away from all heat sources such as heating lamps, stoves or ovens. Acrylic paint is sensitive to heats of 140 degrees Fahrenheit, at which the paint can soften and the painting damaged.

3) Smoking near an acrylic painting will damage the paint surface.

4) Paintings made with acrylics can often gather dust more easily than other mediums.
This is mainly because acrylic can hold electrostatic charges and these attract dust. If
your painting develops a dusty film on the surface, a safe way to remove it is to use light compressed air to blow all dust particles off the paint surface.

5) Never use cleaning agents such as ammonia or detergents on your painting. Ammonia will ruin and permanently damage your painting. If you need to clean your painting use a professional cleaning service that has a good reputation in cleaning fine art. Never use chemical cleaning agents of any kind on an acrylic painting.

6) High humidity can also affect an acrylic painting, so every measure to keep humidity to a minimum is recommended.

7) A good way to protect your acrylic painting from dust and other damage and hang it properly is to have it professionally framed. Although this can be costly, it will be well worth the investment to retain your paintings luster and vibrance for generations to come.
