ElenaPerletti is an handmade brand born in 2017 in the north of Italy.
Journalist at work in music business, Elena begins to sew in 2009. Since then, thanks to a course at the SITAM Academy in 2014, Elena develops a personal style in pure SLOW FASHION mood.

ElenaPerletti dresses are created from hand-dyed ethnic fabric or Made In Italy high quality scraps from the big fashion companies (the highest quality materials in non-standard height, oddly shaped or the end-pieces of the tissue-rolls).

Elena, recovering these materials, want to create HANDMADE, MADE TO MEASURE, GREEN clothes with a MODERN and, at the meanwhile, CLASSIC touch.

ElenaPerletti's clothes are designed for men and women who want to wear something unique and valuable, to bring a touch of ORIGINALITY in their lives. People who're looking for all the care and passion that only an artisan can offer.


**** HISTORY ****
Once I had a boyfriend.
This guy -to be true, a very good person- often told me that I was not good enough.
I didn't like clubbing nor the new indie rock scene, I was not interested the French Nouvelle Vague, I ate too many sweets, I wasn't good at make up and so on.
Among the things that "NO-NO-NO", there was my way of dressing: he was used to say I was sloppy.

At one point, I simply decided that I love myself: I broke with him and I continued to dress the way I like to! 😀
Indeed, perhaps worse: not just vintage garments stolen from the closet of my aunt but also things made by me.

Infact, Cecilia (the 90 year-old seamstress of the village where still live) saw something in me that I never knew I had, "Your are talented," she said, "You should try with the sewing machine."
So, in 2009 my aunt gifted me by my first Singer.

I never did sewing classes, only a drawing course: I learn everything by myself.
In the meantime, people start to love my clothes started, asking for them more and more: my mix of retro, ethnic, boho & comfy seems to have some sense. 🌈🎉👍
