Note from shop owner Thanks for visiting! I am currently about to give birth to my first child - a girl! I am not sure how long I will be gone, it may be months since I will want to focus on the baby and we are also moving to a new location! However, when I do return, I assure you the shop will be better than ever with lots of new stock and a renewed excitement!! In the meantime, feel free to contact me, as I will still be checking in from time to time! Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to serving you in the future!!!

About

GREAT PATH VINTAGE - Unique vintage clothing and accessories for cool chicks!

History and Attitude:

Great Path Vintage was founded in May of 2010 (then named Elevations). The shop continues to grow and improve along with its owner, Emily Hall. GPV is so proud to be an ETSY shop, and part of this wonderful community of artists, entrepreneurs, and all-around beautiful people! The general mission of Great Path Vintage is to provide a wonderfully diverse selection of vintage clothing, accessories, and service to the entire world. Great Path has sold items to many countries around the globe; it has been an amazing experience to "meet" everyone who has purchased from Great Path, making lasting positive connections.

The meaning of the name "Great Path Vintage":

Great Path Vintage was named by its owner, Emily, and comes from her deep passion and appreciation for the Native American culture. Emily grew up in Massachusetts and was always fond of all things Native American. Her fascination has grown more and more over the years and ultimately encouraged her to name this shop after The Great Path in New England, otherwise known as The Great Trail. The Great Path was a network of footpaths created before the arrival of the colonists in North America. The primary purpose of these paths were for peaceful trade between tribes. Great Path Vintage is built on similar principles, offering items to many different "tribes" on peaceful terms. Showing respect to our Mother Earth by happily helping lower our carbon footprint by cleaning up, fixing up, and selling items that may have otherwise been lost to the past. Honoring our ancestors by respecting what they have created, and incorporating these items into today's world, lessening our need to make, buy, waste more.

A very warm welcome to you!

♥ Great Path Vintage is a one woman run Etsy shop.
I strive to offer you the very best in customer service, but remind you that as I am one woman, I can only be in one place in one time. I always try to get back to my customers in a timely manner, however sometimes I have minor life setbacks and it may take me a day or two.

♥ I am very convo-freindly, so please feel free to ask me any questions you may have!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I now accept PayPal, Credit Cards, and Etsy Gift Cards for all items!
Shipping
♥ I typically use USPS for my shipments. Though, if an item is heavier than my typical items, I may use UPS.
☆ Items are shipped at the most economical shipping cost. Please let me know if you would like to add tracking or insurance ahead of time.
-Convo me, and we can work out the details. :)

♥ I try to use as many recycled/reused/repurposed wrap and boxes for shipping. Please be aware that your item(s) will arrive in a possibly 'ugly' used box as I re-use as much as possible to reduce my impact on the earth. That said, I always make sure items are packed safely.
Refunds and Exchanges
♥ Please read all descriptions and view all photographs before purchasing an item. I do my best to describe my goods through words and pictures. However, if you are unsure about an item, or have any questions: again, I am very convo-friendly, please contact me! I do not offer refunds or exchanges as I believe I cover all bases in the description of the item. All of my
customers have been more than satisfied so far, and it is my goal to keep that as a constant.

All items come from a smoke free home.

Please keep in mind that these are vintage items and due to age and use, there may be slight wear. Vintage items may show minor signs of wear due to age. I always indicate any major flaws or blemishes, but will not always mention small flaws, such as tiny holes or spots if I do not see them (I always mention anything I see). If you are concerned about a particular item's condition, please contact me and I will give it a second look. Also, if for any reason you are unhappily surprised by an item's condition, please contact me. I would much rather work something out with you than have an unhappy customer and/or receive negative feedback. All that said, I do believe you should be able to buy with confidence, as I truly want all of my customers to be happy! :)
Additional policies and FAQs
♥ Clothing is always listed with measurements. Most items are photographed on me, I am typically a size 4. Some items are photographed on a white dress mannequin, the measurements on that are: bust: 34", waist: 23", hips: 34", and this mannequin has NO junk in her trunk, so some items may look a little loose in the "bottom". Every once in a while, they are photographed on my vintage dress form "Rose", Rose has a bust of 30" and a waist of 24", so even some small items may look a little big on her.

♥ There are also some items I post in lots. If you are ever curious if I would break up a lot, please ask about the particulars and change of price. Most likely I will!

♥ Upon your purchase, if there is a problem with an order, a question I have for you, or any other concerns, I will contact you through your etsy account. Please let me know if you would like me to contact you through your email address instead.

♥ I can't stress enough how much I love my Etsy shop and Etsy in general. I discover new things to praise every day, and am still in awe of how well the process works for everyone. I envision myself selling and buying here for a long time, and want everyone to have a great experience when dealing with my shop!
