About

Creating handmade, small-batch jewelry to last a lifetime

ElisabethSpace Jewelry was born out of a desire to create with the stones, rocks, and minerals I've loved since I was a child. After coming home from an impromptu visit to my first bead show back in 2005, I found myself with a heap of beautiful stones, but no knowledge of what to do with them - buying stones for their inherent beauty seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to me. After staring at the beads and rocks for 3 months, I decided to try to cobble something together, hoping it wouldn't fall apart while wearing it. As luck would have it, that first necklace was a success (one that I still wear to this day, pictured above) and I was hooked. Even though I never assumed this would be my life's path, I've been fortunate enough to be my own boss for a little while now, focusing on jewelry and the inner-workings of a small business, day in and day out.

The metal tumbler & soldering pickle pot (yes, that's a thing!) might get left out on the kitchen counter and what was once a dining room is now my chaotic studio. I feel fortunate that my home life and work life are so visibly, deeply intertwined, allowing me to never forget how grateful I am for being able to do what I do on a daily basis.

Follow me on Instagram & Twitter for peeks at works in progress. I love connecting with my buyers! Feel free to hashtag any images of you and one of my creations with #elisabethspace so I can see the piece being worn in its new natural habitat.

Retail buyers, please know that I am an approved Etsy Wholesale seller and would be happy to send you a guest pass to see my linesheet. Send me a message and I'll get right back to you.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You are responsible for any import duties or taxes your order might incur.
A NOTE TO UK BUYERS: Please note that purchases over £15 can incur VAT of 20% + £8 handling fee from Royal Mail. Your country's government seems to be the most reliable in collecting this fee. https://www.gov.uk/vat-rates

NE & WA state residents will be charged sales tax on total price.
Why do WA state residents have to pay sales tax to a seller in NE? In 2012 WA state adopted a regulation referred to as Economic Nexus which requires, in my case as someone who lived in and operated a business in Seattle through 2012, a retailer to remit sales tax to the state for 4 years after they leave the state. It's long and complicated tax jargon, but ultimately, it's the law. Read more about it here: http://1.usa.gov/10JZjbA
Shipping
All items will be shipped United States Postal Service First Class mail (delivery confirmation included for US customers) in a box inside a bubble mailer for protection.

Jewelry is shipped in kraft boxes topped with a wax seal. Packaging is simple and pretty, ready for gifting.

If your order is a gift and you'd like me to send a handwritten message on a gift card, I will happily do this for you free of charge. You can include the note you wish to send in the Message to Seller box during checkout. Feel free to contact me with any requests or questions: http://goo.gl/bLu19

If you require a different method of shipping, please contact me to discuss this.

** International Shipments ** All taxes, duties and customs fees associated with international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I always want you to be happy with your purchases. Returns are accepted if you contact me within 7 days from the time you receive your package.

Returned items must be mailed back within 14 days and in new condition.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
Please note that, due to their nature, all custom orders are final.

If you have a size issue with a ring, please contact me. I certainly understand that ordering a ring online can be difficult when it comes to sizing. Based on ring style, some rings can be easily resized, but some cannot. A resizing fee may be charged based on individual circumstance.

When in doubt, always know that many jewelry stores will help you calculate your ring size for free.
