Elisha Marie Jewelry is designed by Elisha M. Garza. Formally trained in jewelry design and fabrication, she set forth towards her dream of creating a jewelry line that speaks to individuality. At Elisha Marie, we design and manufacture our jewelry line from recycled metals and conflict-free gemstones. Our design methods blend traditional jewelry design with modern innovations.

Elisha Marie Jewelry is created and designed in our Austin, Texas studio. We partner with a number of skilled American casting companies. Together we are committed to ethical and responsible production in all stages of the creation process. SHIPPING ADDRESS:
I ship to the address you provide at time of checkout. PLEASE be sure to give us the correct address. I am not responsible for lost packages due to an incorrectly supplied address.

PAYPAL:
If you are an unverified buyer with an unconfirmed address your order may be delayed 3-5 business days to ensure accuracy with your delivery. Please ensure that your address is confirmed so that you and I are both covered by PayPal should any shipping issues arise.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - please be aware that your country may impose customs fees. Unfortunately I cannot control these fees, and they can vary dramatically, please check with your local postmaster/customs office. EM Jewelry is not responsible for any customs fee charges. Orders that are not claimed for non payment of customs duties are not the responsibility of EM Jewelry.

First Class Mail
2-5 days delivery, insurance, tracking number and delivery confirmation.



International:

First Class 10-45 Days + Insurance

Shipped USPS First Class or Priority. Tracking numbers will be provided but they will only work in certain countries. Please allow up to 14 days for shipping and 45 days for Customs Hold. All duties and fees from Customs are the buyers responsibility. Orders that are not claimed for non payment of customs duties are not the responsibility of EM Jewelry.



GENERAL QUESTIONS

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Items

If you item is damaged or lost during transit, please contact us within 7 days. We will do our best to find a solution. In the event that an item is lost, we will ship a new order. If the item has been rerouted, please allow time for the package to arrive. We are not responsible for lost/stolen items that are marked as "Delivered." Once, an item is marked as " Delivered" we cannot file an insurance claim with USPS. Orders that are not claimed for non payment of customs duties are not the responsibility of EM Jewelry.


Can I track my package?

Yes. An email will arrive when your order ships with your package’s tracking information. (But make sure to check your SPAM account, sometimes they end up there.) Please note that orders shipped using USPS Global Priority Mail are provided with a Customs number. This number can be used to track your package through USPS within the United States only.

International shipments can track their package in the U.S. only. Tracking numbers will not work in some countries. Please, upgrade shipping to track your package.


I'm in a rush! Can you expedite shipping on my order?

We do offer express or overnight shipping. Plan ahead and order early.
Lead time is still needed for all orders.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase made on www.elishamariejewelry.com you may return your order in original condition ( unworn, unaltered ) postmarked within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Before returning your item, please first fill out the form below or send a brief e-mail to info [!at] elishamariejewelry.com and include your name, the product name, and invoice number. We will send you a return form to fill out with instructions for returning your item.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges that were purchase from any other retailer. Please note that all custom and sale items are a final sale and cannot be returned. We recommend shipping items with tracking and insurance as Elisha Marie is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

What is 14 KARAT GOLD FILL/ ROSE GOLDFILL:

Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant.


MY ITEM IS TURNING MY SKIN GREEN! WHAT DO I DO?

Some people can be sensitive to certain metals which can cause a green or grey tarnish on some peoples' skin. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, while sleeping or exercising, and remove rings before washing your hands and applying lotions.


Elisha Marie is not responsible for injuries or reactions caused by the jewelry. Please, read each description thoroughly before purchasing.


MY JEWELRY BROKE! CAN YOU FIX IT?

We will repair items purchased through Etsy or www.elishamariejewelry.com within 30 days of purchase. Please note that Elisha Marie is not responsible for shipping charges on repair items. Please contact us first for repair authorization and include your name, the product name, and invoice number.



RESIZING:

Resizing rates starts at $5.00, plus shipping and handling costs.

(Note: Some of my designs cannot be resized due the fabrication process.)

Once a piece has been altered, including ring re-sizing, it is also FINAL SALE.

GENERAL CARE


GOLD & GOLD FILL CARE

Proper care of your gold jewelry will ensure a long lasting glow. Gold is tarnish resistant but can get dirty or smudged. Clean with a soft polishing cloth only.
Rose and Red gold have a higher level of copper in the gold. Red gold can tarnish into a burgundy color over time due to the copper.


Gold itself is inert, and does not typically react with skin to cause discoloration. But there are certain conditions under which gold jewelry can affect the color of your skin. Other metals are often added to gold in order to harden it or change its hue, and these metals may be responsible for the discoloration.

Contact Dermatitis
Contact dermatitis is an allergic reaction in which the surface of your skin becomes discolored or develops a rash, due to contact with an allergen. According to PubMed.gov, studies indicated that gold is a common allergen that can induce dermatitis on the face and eyelids, as well as on areas of the skin where prolonged contact occurs. The study concluded that just under half of the subjects who experienced contact dermatitis due to skin exposure were found to be reacting from another documented allergen within the gold alloy.

Copper
If your skin is naturally acidic, it may react with the copper used in gold jewelry to create a green discoloration on the skin. This discoloration is more common under humid conditions, or when high heat causes you to sweat. This acidity can cause a chemical reaction within the copper that simulates oxidation, which creates a green color in copper. If your skin turns green from gold jewelry, remove the jewelry and wash your skin. To avoid this side-effect of gold jewelry, only wear higher-quality and more pure gold, such as 18-karat gold.


SILVER CARE

Recycled and sustainable .925 sterling silver will natural oxidize and tarnish over time. Use a soft polishing cloth to clean.


BRONZE CARE

Bronze is a metal that consists of a mixture of copper, tin and zinc giving it that gold tone look. Bronze will oxidize and tarnish over time. Avoid water, lotions, oils. Clean with a soft polishing cloth to bring back the gold shine.

*Please be aware that certain people can be sensitive to bronze which can lead to skin reactions such as green skin, black skin or itching.



BRASS CARE

All brass jewelry is protected with a micro- crystalline wax polish to slow down the tarnishing effect. Brass will naturally tarnish and patina over time. Avoid water, oils, lotions. Use a soft polishing cloth to bring back the gold luster of the brass metal.

*Please be aware that certain people can be sensitive to bronze which can lead to skin reactions such as green skin, black skin or itching.



HOW DO I CLEAN BRASS?

Brass jewelry may acquire a darker, antique patina with repeated wear. While we love the way this looks, you may not. To restore a brand-new shiny luster, use a commercial brass cleaner, like “JAX”, which is available at many jewelry stores and online. Jewelry polishing cloths work well too, but don’t use them on gold- or silver- plated finishes, as it can abrade the thin layer of plating right off. Another old-fashioned trick to clean brass is to smear it with ketchup, wait a few minutes, and then rinse it off. There’s something about the acid and sugar that de-tarnishes the metal.
