Who are Ella & Tess?
The names Ella & Tess are a play on the word Tessella, which is a small piece in mosaic art – a piece that makes up the big picture. To me, splitting Tessella into two names symbolizes the different - and sometimes totally opposite - sides of myself.
I’m a mixed bag of likes and interests. An accountant who enjoys the predictability and order of a balanced budget sharing the same skin with an unpredictable artist. I love the crisp look of East Coast wool and silk just as much as the soft comfort of Southwestern denim and leather. A sports bar is as appealing to me as a candlelit dinner. Dickens sits on my bookshelf right next to Evanovich. And my music collection is all over the map.
My designs reflect these differences. I have pieces that are whimsical and just for fun, as well as those that are more serious, even elegant. I think of Ella as my laughter and Tess as my serious side. But I’ll let you decide which designs are which.
In my life I’ve found that not only do opposites attract, but they can live happily side by side in the same skin. I hope you enjoy exploring both sides of my collection. And don’t forget to explore your own unique opposites.
I accept PayPal, money orders, and credit cards via Etsy Direct Checkout. Money orders must be made payable to Lynn Steinbring. Your order will ship after payment has been confirmed.
Gross Receipts Tax (6.25%) will be charged for all orders shipping to New Mexico addresses.
Sales Tax (8.25%) will be charged for all orders shipping to Texas addresses.
Standard Shipping – United States
Unless otherwise stated in the item listing, standard domestic shipping is via USPS First Class Mail and includes insurance for the amount of the merchandise. Shipping fees vary based on the item and are indicated with each item. Additional items generally ship for a small additional fee.
Shipments Outside the USA
Unless otherwise noted in the item listing, charges for packages shipping outside of the USA will be calculated on an individual basis.
Customs/Duty/Import Fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Custom forms for items shipping outside of the USA will indicate the item contents and value, and will be classified as Merchandise.
Shipping via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, FedEx or other carrier is available and will be calculated per order. Contact me for details.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase so please contact me with any problems or questions so I can help you resolve them. General policies are as follows:
• Items damaged during shipment. A claim will be filed for any damages incurred during shipping.
• Problems due to workmanship. Contact me for return authorization. You will be entitled to a full refund, including shipping charges, or to an exchange if the damage is due to workmanship.
• Just didn’t like it? Contact me for a return authorization. Returns must be made within 14 days from original receipt of item. Returned item must be in unused condition and include all original packaging. You will receive a refund for the amount of the item, not including shipping charges.
