About me:
I currently reside in Houston where I was born and raised. I love Texas with its wide open spaces and warm sunshine! I am first a stay at home mother to two very active and curious three year old twins, a boy named Colin and a girl named Ella. They are my inspiration.
Why Ella Lene:
Ella Lene (pronounced lane) is my daughters name. She and her brother are my inspiration and the reason I do what I do. My grandmother taught my mother to sew and my mother taught me to sew. I hope to be able to teach my daughter when she gets a little bit older.
What you are getting with your purchase:
I hand make every garment in my shop at my home. I spend hours choosing the right fabric, patterns, and notions to make every garment special and unique. I love every aspect of what I do and it shows in the final product. I love to see little ones wearing my clothing. I believe in quality and that is what you get with your purchase. All my clothing is compliant with the children's guidelines under the CPSC.

Additional policies and FAQs
I use a Brother CS-6000i computer sewing machine.
I do not have a serger therefore, I like to use a zigzag stitch at or within a half of an inch of most of my raw edges (in addition to a straight stitch) on the inside of most of the garments I make. As the raw edges fray slightly from washing, this zigzag stitch keeps the garment safe. If I do not zigzag stitch, sometimes I will use pinking shears on raw edges before sewing.
