Exactly as pictured. Love it! Almost paid $50 more for a smaller presence ring before I saw this one. So happy with this purchase. Thank you Ellen.
For the Love of the Work
I'm in my thirties, and I went to college first at a very tiny liberal arts school in the Green Mountains of Vermont before returning to my hometown to finish at Penn State University with a degree in philosophy. I later returned to Penn State again to learn metalsmithing. I still live in Central Pennsylvania. I love creating art from the seemingly lifeless, immovable material that is metal, and I love that jewelry is for many people (including me) an accessory that can be meaningful as well as beautiful. Metalsmithing is absolutely and unequivocally one of my greatest passions. It has given profound meaning, satisfaction, escape and a sense of productivity to my life despite the fact that I've been restricted to one degree or another since early adolescence by a neuromuscular condition called HKPP. Etsy has made it possible for me to do this work; work that isn't second best, isn't a compromise I've made based on my health, but is in fact what I've known for most of my life was my dream career. Having this opportunity has been incredibly enriching.
Life isn't always easy. But working with metal is a beautiful bright spot amidst it all. Thanks for visiting my shop... and trust that the pieces I create for you are made with genuine love, passion, care and gratitude.
My work is available locally at the Green Drake Gallery in Millheim, PA.
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
- Other Method
If you need to cancel an order, you must contact me to do so within 24 hours of my receiving payment, as the item may already have been shipped after that time.
I try to ship items within 2-3 days of receiving payment, but it may sometimes take up to a week to complete an item when I am very busy (especially in December!). I ship using USPS. Please message me BEFORE purchasing to arrange priority or express service or insurance.
I ship internationally, but shipping times can vary widely and unpredictably. It can take 3 days to 8 weeks for an item to arrive. USPS does not offer tracking numbers for international shipments, but a little information is usually available online using the customs number.
I do include an invoice in my packages. If for any reason (gift, conserving paper, etc.) you do not want an invoice included, just let me know upon ordering. You can always view your invoice online.
My shipping prices, as shipping prices in any store anywhere do, cover shipping as well as shipping supplies (labels, packaging, invoice, handling, etc.).
Pieces costing more than $60 will be insured when they are shipped.
Refunds and Exchanges
In most cases I require a 50% nonrefundable payment on commissioned pieces before beginning work.
If a piece requires repairs due to workmanship, please contact me and these will be done at no cost to you (except for the cost of shipping it back to me).
I resize rings for free one time except for the cost of return shipping. However, some of my rings cannot be resized, especially if they incorporate text or stones, so please be sure to determine your correct size before ordering. If you need help with that, let me know.
