Announcement    Due to delays in getting my cotton during the COVID-19 crisis, it is taking approximately 2-3 weeks for most of my orders. However, I do have quite a few items already printed that could ship immediately, particularly in the 18x18 size. Please ask me about these if you are in a hurry for gifts or new decor!

Christmas Decor, Christmas Pillows, Gifts for Home, Cushion Covers, Sofa Pillows, Throw Pillows, Custom Pillows, Wedding Gifts, Home Decor, French Pillows, Cotton Pillows, Burlap Pillows, French Decorating, Farmhouse Pillows, Farmhouse Decor, Country Pillows, Country Decor, Pillow Covers, Baseball Pillows, Holiday Pillows, Holiday Gifts.

I have many items already in stock that can ship today. Please search within my shop with the search terms SHIPS TODAY. Thank you so much for shopping with me this holiday season!

Composed, crafted, measured, cut and sewn—all in a bedroom of a wood-sided farmhouse, built by a Civil War veteran, in a Minnesota river town. That’s the journey that each pillow cover takes, from concept to finished good.

As a graphic designer and seamstress, I make each pillow cover by hand, one at a time. Specializing in French-country, vintage-inspired burlap and cotton pillow covers, each piece has a certain couture-like feel (couture is a French term used to describe distinctive, high-end fashion).

I design and sew all of my pillows right here in my home. I grew up sewing on a little Montgomery Ward table top sewing machine and always loved it, but never imagined this is how I would support myself. As I was finishing my final year of post-graduate school, I brought a beautiful little child into the world who happens to be severely disabled. My little guy requires nursing level care and receives around 40 hours a week of therapies, most in my home, and although my days are filled with many interruptions, squeezing in my sewing and filling orders is something I have found I both love and manage well.

When you buy a pillow or pillow cover from one of my shops, you are helping me ensure that I can meet my son's needs and keep us in our simple farmhouse in the middle of Minnesota that has been modified extensively to keep him safe! I am currently raising the money for a service dog for him as well, and every pillow I sell truly helps, and I genuinely appreciate each and every one of you. I am honored that you have chosen me to help make your spaces beautiful!

I understand that with Etsy's new policies, shops overseas are able to compete with me and sell a pillow for less than I can even buy my materials for one pillow, so I just wanted to share my personal story of where your money goes when you shop with me. Also, I do not sell anywhere else online so if you see my designs elsewhere (other than occasional shops, where my goods are also carried), they have been stolen and I would love to hear reports of where you saw them so I can continue working to protect my designs from intellectual property theft.

I no longer sew on a little Montgomery Wards sewing machine! All of your pillows are sewn on industrial sewing machines and sergers, and are professional finished, steamed, and at your request, can be delivered tagged and in sealed bags for quality gift-giving! My burlap is decorator grade sultana burlap, fully-lined in 100% cotton for structural durability. My competitors are using low-quality landscape grade burlap that is not hydrocarbon free and smells strongly of chemicals when you open their packages. Their burlap is not fully lined, and their pillows are not serged. They are sewn together with a home sewing machine, without finished edges and because of the loose weave of the burlaps they are using, will not last. When you purchase a product from me, it is guaranteed to meet my very high standards for quality, workmanship and durability.

Use the keywords SHIPS TODAY in the search bar within my shop to see what I may have just sewn!

I am typically shipping within 5-7 days of the time of your purchase. Please don't hesitate to ask what day your order will ship, as it will very likely be sooner than the date Etsy is currently posting! Please note that I do not accept returns, so if you would like to see how an item looks in print, please request a sample of any design you are interested in. It is only $3 and worth saving you a heartache.

If you are in a hurry for your design, please check for any SHIPS TODAY items in my shop. All those pillow covers are in stock, sewn and will ship to you the first business day of your purchase. Please note that none of my pillow covers automatically have inserts for them, as many people fold up their covers and store for the season, reusing the same inserts. This applies to SHIPS TODAY covers as well, so if you need one, you must purchase it from the Pillow Forms section of my shop, and you must checkout separately with SHIPS TODAY items from other items in my shop, otherwise they will ship when the other items are ready to ship. They also may not have all the options I offer, such a color choice on the back, since they merely represent what I already have sewn and in stock.

International customers are responsible for all fees associated with shipping to your country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The buyer (you) may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; I have no control over these charges and cannot collect these or warn you about them in advance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond my original delivery estimates. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms.

Shipping
{Shipping Method}

} Typically ships within US within 7-10 business days via USPS First class mail with tracking. You may pay to upgrade to Priority Mail with Insurance. You may also pay to require a signature upon delivery. For fastest shipping, choose from available covers that are ready to ship using the keywords SHIPS TODAY in the search bar within my shop.
} Ships to Canada and internationally to many countries via USPS First Class international mail - no tracking available. I retain proof of purchase of postage but cannot be responsible for undelivered packages once I release your product for shipment.
} I do not contact you prior to shipment, so please do not be alarmed...I am just busy working on getting your order out as soon as possible. If you have questions, please contact me...I am happy to give you a status update!

• It is your responsibility to request a signature required with delivery if you are concerned about receiving your package. This can be purchased through the upgraded Priority Mail option at checkout. There is a nominal additional fee the post office charges. Once the post office marks your package as “delivered” they do not cover any losses claimed by you, nor can I ship you a new product for free. When in doubt, pay for the “signature required” so that the post office can hand-deliver your product to you and have you sign for it.
• International Orders do not have tracking and insurance. I retain the receipt and can prove your items were shipped but I am not in any way responsible for items that do not arrive.

{Lost, Stolen, and Undelivered Shipments}

USPS and International shipping failures are not my fault or a reflection on my level of dedication to my customers. If your shipment is sent without insurance (this applies internationally only - USPS Priority Mail includes insurance):
• I am not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered packages. All lost, stolen, and undelivered packages without insurance are on the responsibility of the buyer.
• I am unable to replace or reship items shipped internationally that do not arrive.
• USPS delivery failures or damaged items include insurance but it is the buyer's responsibility to track their package, and file any claims they may have on undelivered or damaged items using the tracking information provided on your receipt.
{Shipment & Address Changes}
I strive to ship within 7-10 business days of when you place your order. I use the addresses provided to me on the invoice. Be sure to VERIFY YOUR ADDRESS because:
• I will ship to the shipment address listed in the order confirmation. This includes Paypal addresses.
• Any packages returned due to wrong or incorrect addresses will be reshipped at the cost of purchaser.
• If you intend for your item to be a gift and wish for it to be shipped to the recipient, you must CHANGE your SHIPPING NAME AND ADDRESS when you are checking out. I will not be able to ship to a name and address you send me in a convo. Etsy prints my shipping labels for me using the name and address you provided.
Additional policies and FAQs
I occasionally accept custom work for orders of over 10 pillow covers. Convo me with your specifications. A down payment of 50% of the total order is required before I begin designing.

I wholesale in many shops throughout the US, Canada and Europe. For details, please contact me with your shop information and I will send you rates.

Please note that each pillow is made to order. This means I do not invest in materials until you purchase, so I am unable to offer refunds.

Unlike shopping at a chain establishment, I do not have capital to invest in and store an inventory. Each purchase you make helps me care for my children, and as a single mother with a severely disabled child (my youngest), I am unable to work outside the home. When you ask me to accept a return, it is the same as asking me to give you a gift that I first have to go out and buy. I cannot return the fabric because you have changed your mind, decide you do not like the color back you chose, etc. so please plan your purchases accordingly.

Each pillow is handcrafted just for you. I sew with industrial equipment in what used to be my son's nursery. Due to his disability, he sleeps in my room with me, which I love, and I found it so fitting to convert his room into the space where I am now able to provide for him.

I know we live in a world where people often find it difficult to see the good, but I see every day, and every moment as a gift and I always look for the good. This is the mantra I live by:

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”

― Wendy Mass, The Candymakers

So, be kind, be thoughtful, and smile! You have many good things, and beautiful pillows, headed your way!
