An interesting take on synthesis and user participation. I only wish it was battery power with a small built in speaker, but I'll probably add them myself because this is a perfect tabletop conversation starter.

The only thing to be careful of are the jacks for the user connections. They are a bit finicky, but hopefully, won't be an issue in the long run.

All in all, a very cool synthesizer.

5 stars for concept, 4 stars execution..still excellent. The sequencer is exceptional, the designer envisioned a generative music universe and put it in our hands. Brilliantly, complexity is made simple. Within 5 min., most musical functions are understood w/o the manual, that alone is an achievement. The sequencer is perhaps the most brilliant I’ve encountered - it’s always new. Yes, I wish it could store patterns but it’s clearly a generative sequencer that you can direct & shape. If only every synth had this sequencer! Materials used: when you get in this $ range, you start to see solid materials & this feels slightly fragile. Sound: some interesting sounds, imho often too bright / narrow in timbre. Perhaps, I need to explore, but could have more variation. It shouldn’t discourage - still the most brilliant generative device!

This synth is one of the best purchases I have made in terms of experimental music tool! Do not be deceived by its price! I have had other small synths such as the Volca modular up to the Lyra-8 and this little synth definitely pulls its weight, I love it and looking forward using it in my setup!

Congratulations on the research and the design for this device. It is able to do a whole variety of sounds and playing with it is "exploratory" and i like it. Cheers

A really fun and easy way to get introduced to keyboardless sound synthesis. Really well built and easy to use. The variety of sound still feels endless after playing with it for a few weeks. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone!
