Since I was a child, I have loved packaging -- little places to keep my tiny treasures. So it's not surprising that my business began with handcrafted keepsake boxes. My fine boxes are made from scratch using traditional bookbinding materials and principles. Though the process is tedious, the results are rewarding.

A vintage cardboard Easter cone was my inspiration for an upscale, fabric version which was quickly swept into the world of weddings. Ring Bearer and Wish Boxes followed. My sleek designs find their way into weddings of all styles, from contemporary to vintage.

My newest line provides photographers heirloom quality presentations for their clients. Newlyweds and others are also fans.

My grandmother Elsie was quite stylish! When it comes to design, my mother says that it skipped over her, to me. (Not true.) My initials are LC. Thus, my shop name represents a lineage of women of style.

I am happy to provide to you sleek, chic, upscale items for highlighting special occasions. All items are Made-to-Order unless stated "Ready-Made".

If you would like to order from my shop, please contact me for your custom listing. This way we can fully communicating all of the information necessary for fulfilling your needs.

New York purchases will be subject to 8% sales tax.
Shipping
Shipping is from NY state, by USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days), unless otherwise stated in the listing. If you would like to upgrade, please let me know prior to purchasing. All orders include tracking.

US Shipping costs are estimated for the greatest distance from me. Therefore, refunds will be provided for any overage of payment of $1 or more. I take great care in safely packaging your order. Thus, pricing includes packaging materials and labor. This portion of the cost remains in full.

Current shipping prices are for the 48 continental United States only.

Ready Made Items will be shipped within 3 days of purchase.

After I have delivered your order to the post office, it is out of my control. If tracking has been marked delivered by USPS, you will have to file a claim with them. Once in a while packages do get delayed (even lost) during the postal process. Of course, I am happy to assist. Please place orders with plenty of time allotted.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase. However, there is generally NO refund on a custom order unless I have made an error, or the item information was incorrect.

Once your item(s) are in production, there can be no refund.

Ready Made items, in unused condition, may be returned. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer unless there was an error in the listing.

Color is not an acceptable reason for return as colors are likely to appear differently on individual monitors. For this reason, swatches are always available. Even so, dyelot differences are possible.

Also, inconsistencies are inherent to the natural and textured fabrics that I use. Major flaws will be avoided.

MADE to ORDER Items:

Custom orders take time ...
- confirming color / size information
- possibly receiving swatches
- possibly ordering materials
- production (there may be orders ahead of yours)
- shipping

The production schedule varies according to my workload.

Your quoted turn-around time is for production and shipment, and will begin after your custom listing is actually purchased, or after any further conversations regarding customization. Delivery is in addition to this time frame -- usually within 2-3 business days.

Though not generally necessary for a single item, starting the process 4 weeks ahead is recommended.

To keep the process flowing, with your initial request...
- reference the listing that you would like customized
- provide a due date
- provide your color preferences
