Announcement   Thank you for stopping by the Elusive Muse Glass store! I hope you enjoy browsing through my unique hand-blown glass creations.

I love taking requests for special orders - if you have any questions or curiosities, convo me any time!

If during checkout you have any special requests, please include them in the "notes" section of your shopping cart order. If your purchase is a gift, I'd love to include a note to the recipient if you'd like.

I will typically ship items within two (2) business days of payment receipt, and ship either 2-day USPS or UPS Ground (depending on size & lowest cost ship option); if you need express shipping, just let me know and we can work out the details based upon your needs.

Thanks again for supporting American-made handcrafters and artists!

Cheers,

Thomas was outstanding to work with. He took on an individual request, and worked very diligently to make sure it was right. He developed a personal interest in the project and wanted to know how things worked out. He was very professional and went the extra mile to help make a wedding cake topper for my son's wedding cake. We couldn't have asked for more. I hope others utilize his skills, you won't be disappointed!!!

Elusive Muse is dedicated to learning, creating, and exploring the medium of hand-blown art glass. My creations are all one-of-a-kind, made with a spirit of respect for and fascination with the medium and in an effort to explore and expand my understanding and mastery of it. I'm not a full-time or master artist; I'm very new at this, but my intention is to create useful, beautiful things that others can cherish in their homes in the same spirit of wonder and passion with which I've made them. If there's something you like, but are interested in exploring other color options or combinations, just let me know, I'm open to trying to meet specific requests or new challenges! I encourage and welcome any feedback you may have, and I appreciate your taking the time to check out my little creations! Please also feel free to read my bio or just write me a note to find out more about me, my own creative process, or anything else you'd like to know.

Payment
I accept money order or PayPal, and will usually be able to ship items within 2 business days of receipt of payment. If payment is not received within 5 business days, I will contact you to confirm your interest/intent and will ALWAYS communicate promptly to any feedback or queries.

Payment and shipping addresses must MATCH - if you need me to ship to a different address, please contact me first and we can work something out.

Local (San Diego, CA) buyers can pay in cash - contact me about a piece in question and I'll make arrangements with you (and I'd love to meet my patrons!)
Shipping
I will ship items by USPS Priority Flat Rate Box or UPS ground based on item size (sorry, no carrier pigeon deliveries!) so shipping will normally be as listed with an item for domestic (CONUS) purchases. As of August 2011, this is typically $11 to $14 (USPS Priority) to roughly $18 UPS 2-day ground. I will ship items within 2 business days of receipt of payment.

I do not charge for packing materials (outer box, bubble wrap, etc.) - I want to make sure that you receive your piece(s) intact, and will package with great care, I promise - I'm honored by your purchase of something I've made with my own hands, so I want to protect it and make sure you receive it! If the item is to be a gift, please let me know and I'll be happy to include a note to the recipient from the artist, as well as coordinate any special packaging requests. I'm happy to provide gift box solutions, too!

If you are in Canada, Mexico or "Everywhere else" I used the USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail Box rate pricing as my basis, however, if I can get it to you more cost-effectively, I will do so.

Again, local San Diegans can meet up with me to pay cash and skip the shipping fee.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because of the fragile nature of hand-blown art glass, and the fact that each piece is one of a kind, I'm unable to support refunds or exchanges. However, if a piece is broken in transit, please contact me immediately (within 2 business days of receipt) and we can discuss possible remedies. While I can't officially accept liability for shipping errors, I really want you to have something you love that I've made! So, if anything has gone wrong, PLEASE let me know and I can try to recreate your piece or find some way of ensuring you're happy being my customer and artistic patron!
Additional policies and FAQs
If there's something you'd like me to create for you, I'd be honored to explore it with you! Please send me a note and best time(s) to contact you so that we can explore your ideas together!
