There's Beauty in Brokenness

I live in Friendswood, TX and I am a lover of all things beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I like to see beauty where it may not be so obvious. In crooked branches, for example. Paradoxically enough, there's so much elegance in their gnarly forms and twisted appearance. They are like us in many ways - bent by life's challenges, washed up ashore, stripped of our bark, we are still walking mysteries, revealing new beauty.

I create many things. First of all, I create words - I am a professional translator. Second, I create stories - I write for my children and my friends (www.restandtrust.org). And last but not least, I create driftwood crafts like natural wood lamps, art installations, rustic furniture, twisted lamp-shades, artesian picture frames, etc. Welcome to my shop!
