Quello che è iniziato come un hobby si è trasformato in un'attività. Inizialmente ho iniziato a produrre candele come regalo per i miei familiari più stretti, che continuavano a chiedermi se le vendessi al pubblico. All'epoca non pensavo che le mie candele fossero così buone, quindi ho creato un'attività con il nome Emm-Azing Candles per vedere come sarebbe andata. Finché ero aperta, gli affari andavano bene, ma quando è nata mia figlia, ho dovuto prendermi una pausa di alcuni anni per crescerla con l'aiuto di mio marito, perché volevo essere una mamma casalinga. Ora che mia figlia è abbastanza grande, ho riaperto il mio negozio, ma con un nuovo nome. Non avrei avuto il coraggio di aprire se non fosse stato per l'amore e il supporto dei miei più grandi sostenitori, la mia famiglia. Compro la mia cera da un venditore americano di prodotti biologici. Questa volta uso cera di cocco con una miscela di soia, quindi la cera non solo dura più a lungo, ma brucia in modo più pulito e ha un profumo eccellente. Prima usavo stoppini di legno, ma con questi nuovi contenitori non riesco a riempirli fino a 350 ml e a chiudere il coperchio di bambù, quindi con gli stoppini di cotone posso piegarli in modo che il coperchio si adatti perfettamente al contenitore. Con queste nuove lampade scaldacandele, posso anche realizzare candele senza stoppino per chi le possiede. Che esperienza!

What started off as a hobby turned into a business. I originally started making candles as gifts for my close family and they kept asking me if I sell them publicly. I didn't think my candles were that good at the time so I created a business under the name Emm-Azing Candles to see how it would go. While open, business was great but when my daughter was born, I had to go on hiatus for a few years to raise her with my husband's help since I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. Now that my daughter is old enough, I reopened my shop but under a new name. I wouldn't have had the courage to open in the first place if not for the love and support of my biggest followers, my family. I buy my wax from an American organic seller. I use coconut wax with a blend of soy this time around so the wax not only lasts longer but burns cleaner and the fragrance is excellent. I used to use wooden wicks but with these new containers, I'm unable to fill them to 12oz and put the bamboo lid on so with cotton wicks, I can bend them so the lid can fit perfectly on the container. With these new candle warming lamps, I'm also able to make wickless candles for those who have them as well. What an experience!
