Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and choose File > Save as Google Sheets. Formulas, dropdowns, colours and charts carry across. Cell protection doesn't carry across, so avoid typing over white formula cells.
Which Excel versions?
Excel 2016 or later, or Microsoft 365, on Windows or Mac.
Can I use it on my phone?
You can view and edit it in the Excel or Google Sheets apps, but a laptop or desktop is much easier for setting up.
Which currency do I get?
Most spreadsheets include USD, GBP and EUR versions. The Ireland calculator is in EUR and the UK calculator is in GBP.
Is the tax calculator accurate?
It's an estimate for budgeting, based on official rates as of 12 October 2026 (sources are listed inside). It isn't tax advice, so always check with Revenue/HMRC or an adviser.
I can't find my download.
Go to etsy.com > You > Purchases and reviews > Download files, using a browser.
Can I change categories or colours?
Yes. Rename categories on the Setup/Settings tabs. To change the layout in Excel, use Review > Unprotect Sheet (there's no password).
