I love my new songbird pillow case. It blends seamlessly with my other pillows and adds a touch of whimsy to my study. It came securely wrapped and the service was amazing. Thanks!!

Unique Handmade Items

I've been sewing since I was 10 yrs old. In my early 20's I lived in England for a while. My love of wools, tweeds, warmth, rain, fog and cups of tea grew until I had to express it in the items I made.

I buy tons of suit jackets and trousers from local 2nd hand shops, launder them and painstakenly dismember them. I use as much of each garment as I possibly can....almost until there is none of it left!

I color coordinate my wools so that I can find them with minimal mess. As you can imagine, taking apart a bunch of suit jackets is a sloppy ordeal. So keeping as organized as possible is important.

My inspirations:

- English scenery
- nature and forests
- English gentlemen who walk in their tweeds & wellingtons
- thatched cottages
- cups of tea in fine china
- plaid/tartan blankets
- vintage clothing
- fog and rain
- bitter, chilly days
- stone walls

There you have it. I am an American who loves all things British. Don't get me wrong, there is no place like the USA, but the charm of England is my inspiration.

Welcome to my shop stuffed with vintage and handmade goodies! If you see something you cannot live without and would like to reserve it, please convo me and I'll be happy to do that for you. Reserved items should be purchased within 7 days or I will release the item for sale again.

Once you've made your purchase, I usually do not contact my customers ONLY because I have so much to do (I have a 5 yr old son who is extremely demanding!) and I also suffer from carpal tunnel which makes too much typing impossible.

But I appreciate ALL purchases no matter how big or small. I usually leave feedback on the day I ship.

Please pay via Paypal within 7 days. If you need more time, PLEASE be polite and convo me. If I don't hear anything within 2 weeks of your purchase, I will relist the item and unfortunately leave negative feedback. I'm sorry about this but a convo is a very simple thing. Communications make me happy and I am very lenient otherwise!!
Shipping
I use USPS to ship all of my items. If insurance is included in the postage cost, I will indicate that in my listing. If you would like insurance and want to make sure it's included, PLEASE convo me and I'll help you out with that.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS please note: because shipping internationally can be so expensive, my shipping prices might seem high. I will refund excess shipping within the next dollar increment. If you would like me to weigh several things and give you an exact price, I'd be happy to do that!

OVERPAID POSTAGE : If you've overpaid postage by $2 or more, I will refund you the difference.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ship out on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Orders within the US ship within 2-3 business days unless I am in touch to say otherwise. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with orders and it takes me a wee bit longer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am a very kind-hearted seller and want every one of my customers to be happy! I've personally had many disappointments purchasing online, and I KNOW how frustrating it can be. If you would like to make a return, please do the following:
1. Convo me to let me know of your intention and I will send you my address if you don't have it.
2. Please return your item within 7 days of receipt.

I will not refund shipping costs (sorry!) but I will refund the money you paid for the item ASAP!
