Hi, I’m Sara - the creator behind Emma James Classroom Decor!
I started this shop because I kept seeing classroom décor that felt either too childish for middle school students or overly bright and overwhelming. I wanted to create something different — décor that feels calm, modern, stylish, and genuinely enjoyable to walk into every day.
Everything in this shop is designed with middle school classrooms in mind, blending light academia, minimalist black-and-white themes, and modern botanical/boho aesthetics to create spaces that feel welcoming, organised, and age-appropriate for older students.
As someone who loves beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces, I believe classrooms should inspire both students and teachers. The environment matters. A classroom can still feel creative and engaging without being cluttered or chaotic.
