Emma June Designs is een luxe homeware merk gespecialiseerd in uniek handgeverfd textiel. Al mijn producten zijn liefdevol handgemaakt in mijn atelier in het noordoosten van Schotland. Mijn inspiratie haal ik uit de diverse kleuren van de natuur - van de pigmenttinten op een bloemblad tot de geometrische patronen op het skelet van een blad.

Ik studeerde cum laude af in textiel en oppervlakteontwerp aan Gray's School of Art in mijn woonplaats Aberdeen, Schotland. Na een reis door Zuidoost-Azië en vier jaar in Scandinavië te hebben gewoond, ben ik nu terug verhuisd naar mijn ware liefde, Schotland.

Ik streef ernaar om mijn liefde voor de natuur en het milieu te belichamen in mijn ontwerpen. Elk item wordt individueel met de hand geverfd met behulp van niet-giftige kleurstoffen op waterbasis om hun abstracte mix van kleuren te creëren. U bent ervan verzekerd dat het textiel op elk meubelstuk of stuk of woondecoratie volledig uniek is.

Emma June Designs is a luxury homeware brand specialising in unique hand dyed textiles. All my products are lovingly handmade in my studio in the North East of Scotland. My inspiration is drawn from the diverse colours of nature - from the shades of pigment on a petal to the geometric patterns on the skeleton of a leaf.

I graduated with an honours degree in textiles and surface design from Gray's School of Art in my hometown of Aberdeen, Scotland. After travelling through South East Asia and living in Scandinavia for four years I have now moved back to my true love, Scotland.

I strive to embody my love for nature and the environment in my designs. Each item is dyed individually by hand using water based, non toxic dyes to create their abstract blend of colours. You are guaranteed that the textiles on each item of furniture or piece or home decor is completely unique.
