About

The Throwback Daze

Hi, I'm Emma! When I was little my grandma taught me macrame with jewelry projects & the craft has stuck with me ever since. In the summer of 2012 my dad loaned me a few dollars to buy the rope I needed to make my first ever hammock chair. I started my Etsy store as a way to help support myself through college & from there I branched out to hanging shelves, swings, and decor pieces. Lately I have been taking on more and more custom projects, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a project in mind!

Shipping
I ship each order with USPS. To keep costs low, most pieces ship standard post, but I am happy to do expedited and international shipping. If your country is not listed in the shipping section please message me & I will send you a quote!

I do not include paper invoices in packages, but you can always access your invoice via your Etsy account's purchase history.

If a piece is damaged in the mail, please contact me right away & I will do all I can to help. That said, I cannot be held ultimately responsible for refunds or replacements. If you want shipping insurance through USPS please message me & let me know!
Refunds and Exchanges
I will handle returns on a case-by-case basis, due to the variable nature of handmade items.

Items that "just didn't work out" are not eligible for return or refund. My pieces are made to order because of the high cost of materials associated with each of them, and I'm not able to absorb the cost of this kind of return. They are a commitment in furniture form so be sure of your purchase! Feel free to request any more information you may need to help make your decision.

Please contact me *immediately* if you receive an item that has been damaged. I ship most items with USPS & haven't run into any mail-room damages so far.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please feel free to message me about custom orders - I love taking on new projects!

I also reserve the right to reproduce any original, one-of-a-kind piece at any point in time.
