Creating art is a matter of joy for me. I love words, and I love shape and color, so it’s just wonderful putting them together in ways that let me participate in the great words and thoughts of others. As I enjoy trying to fit the right words together to create beauty when I write (my first novel, Genevieve of Alea, is available in this shop or on Amazon), so I enjoy the shaping of lines and coaxing of colors to create something that can complement and illustrate a quote. In both writing and drawing, I can subcreate—joining with God, in a little way, in His great work of truth, goodness, and beauty.
