Little studio in the big city

This shop started when my first baby was born in NYC. Real estate in NYC is an expensive commodity, so I was very proud of my tiny little studio in a corner of my as-small-as-you-might-imagine New York City apartment. I love to paint outdoors in plein air as do so as much as weather permits. Since my background is in architecture and urban design, it follows that many of my paintings include elements of the built environment. Currently, my themes focus very heavily on the juxtaposition between nature and architecture and the spaces they create when they bleed together.

Products include: cards, prints, original paintings, and custom watercolors.

En Ville, the shop's name, reflects my French heritage and pays homage to my predominant theme of city and town scenes. En Ville is not specifically architecture, and not solely NYC, but it presents views and moments in town where the city feels personal. These are my memorable places that I invite you to share.

I've relocated to Pittsburgh so En Ville Watercolors is now eagerly embracing rivers and bridges and this wonderful city of mine!

Most of my work is watercolor-only, but I do ink-and-watercolor collaborations as well, particularly in pieces that are more architecturally driven.

Custom requests will be met with enthusiasm :)

Returns and exchange details
I will offer refunds on all pre-made (not custom) products. The item must be returned to me within 14 days of delivery in order to process a refund and must be in its original condition. Custom products are non-refundable. Return shipping is your responsibility.

Exception: If the item is damaged in transit, any order (including custom) may be refunded. I must be notified within 3 days of delivery. Evidence of the damage may be required for insurance. Return shipping will be covered or waived. Paintings are packaged with protective reinforcement to minimize this risk.
I currently accept credit, debit, and gift cards.
I ship by USPS Priority Mail within the United States and always provide a tracking number. For orders outside the USA, I will select the optimal shipping service. All products are shipped in archival plastic sleeves and include cardboard reinforcement. Reinforcement for cards will be minimal, while prints and original wall paintings will have more extensive protection.

I have begun to offer calculated shipping on some prints. In order to protect original paintings, I prefer to ship those priority. I will consider other shipping options on a case-by-case basis if you make a request.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome. They will be accommodated as quickly as possible. Depending on the size, theme, and my workload, a small painting will usually be done that week and a large one usually within 2 weeks.
