Apothecary derives from the Ancient Greek word ἀποθήκη (apothḗkē, "a repository, storehouse") via Latin apothecary ("repository, storehouse, warehouse") Apothecary, as a profession, could date back to 2600 BCE to ancient Babylon, which provides one of the earliest records of the practice of the apothecary. Many recipes included herbs, minerals, etc. that were ingested, made into a paste for external use, or used as aromatherapy. Some of these are similar to natural remedies used today, including catnip, chamomile, fennel, mint, garlic, and witch hazel.
To create the soap bars we use the age-old cold process technique. The lack of heating protects the naturally occurring nutrients in the botanical oils. It also preserves the therapeutic properties of our essential oil blends. Our pure botanical ingredients are ethically sourced and organic whenever possible.
The part that separates our soap from many others is that it's made with Selected high-quality Plant butter and oils, to create a soothing silky lather and a much longer-lasting bar than those made from lower-quality oils. Our proprietary formula yields a mild and hydrating soap that is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. We believe that a soap bar should be elegant yet simple (like a steamy shower after a long day at work)
It makes us happy to know that such a basic thing as soap can make somebody feel better.

Our creations are 100% natural and packaged in BPA-free containers.
For shipping, we recycle and reuse bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and air pockets, that we receive in the mail from our suppliers.

I'm ordering some more right now. I did order several flavors and let me tell you the Root Beer, go for it!!

We will be happy to create and ship customized and personalized orders for your special events or for your skin special needs. The customized order needs to be minimum 7 bars of soap, or 5 containers of bath salts, body butters shaving soap etc.
