Let me introduce myself. My name is Wendy Turner. I am a pretty ordinary person who works from home to design cool stuff to stock in my Etsy Shop, Enchanted Loots. How did I get here?

After working at home for several years in the online publishing and search engine optimization field, I craved something more creative that sparked my interest and helped keep my ADHD in check. Being unable to work a job on my feet due to degenerative disk disease, I needed to find another way to provide for myself. With some help from my sister and business partner, I was introduced to Etsy and how to work with familiar systems that allowed me to channel more creative interests and turn them into physical objects that I could sell with the help of a print shop.

I have always loved video games, unicorns, fairies, dragons, and all things magical. As I got older, I was introduced to the world of Anime, and their intricate and often deeply emotional storytelling drew me in. I was always someone who enjoyed watching cartoons, so animated adult-themed shows were right up my alley, so to speak.

I enjoy curating or creating artwork that reflects my interests and passions and then using that to design some pretty neat products! You might even find some of my oddball humor on a few of the items.

Creating pretty and unique styled items is what I do, and I research reviews from the print shop. When I add a new kind of item, I pass the information along in the description if there are any complaints in the reviews on the print shop's website. Unless the item is too new to have reviews, I will not create an item that has less than four out of five stars in reviews at the print shop.

Quality is very important to me, and as many people purchase items from Etsy for gifting, I want everything to be superb quality with no surprises. I will often design items with a specific family member or friend in mind that I know will love it.

Why is your sale price so close to the original price? I hate playing the "high markup so I can put things on sale" game. I keep my prices as low as I can to start with based on the overhead used to create the item. I will still run small sales frequently or offer multi-purchase discount codes since my shipping costs are part of the item cost.

I welcome anyone to reach out to me if they are looking for a specific kind of design that I don't currently carry or if they are interested in a personalized item that is not listed as personalized. I'm happy to create new items to stock in the shop based on customer or potential customer requests. Just because you reach out interested in an item to be designed, I will not hold you obligated to purchase whatever I create.
