Definitely a great product. I was able to mount it to my workbench so I can easily get the chain flexible again after waxing. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the same as one other reviewer mentioned. It is difficult to keep the chain on the cogs with no guide for them. So, I end up having to consistently readjust it as I work the chain through the motions. If that can be fixed, this is literally a perfect device. Would still highly recommend for anyone that waxes their bike chains.

This is a solidly built and an excellent tool.

Great product and fast shipper

Anyone familiar with the process of immersion waxing knows that the companies offering wax solutions have made every step of the process clean and easy except the last one - breaking in a freshly waxed chain. We've either just thrown it on the bike and put up with spotty shifting and flakes for 15-30 minutes, or resort to dragging chains over pipes, etc. This is a well designed solution to breaking in the chain. Wind the chain around the sprockets, slide the tool up/down the chain a few times, and you're good to go. While it's reasonably priced compared to 3 pulley wheels and the time to properly mount them to some board, it's obviously a bit expensive for most single cyclists only waxing a few times a year. I probably wax 20 chains a year and this will be a nice time saver.

As described, this is great for breaking in a newly-waxed chain. The only improvement I can think of would be some guides on the outside of the outer sprockets, so that the chain would not tend to ride up on the teeth initially. But that is a very small issue with a very useful product.

Perfekt für die Werkstatt! Super Qualität.

👍👍👍 Great quality part and fast shipping

Works great. Just used it on two newly waxed chains. It helped to get rid of a lot of excess wax and loosen up the chain for installation.

Very practical tool for breaking in your waxed chains

Great product - exactly as advertised. The shipping was fast and easy.
