EnglishSeaGlass' Shop Announcement

Only the BEST quality GENUINE English Sea Glass, in rare colours and many multies, hand made into gorgeous jewels, using only sterling silver, genuine pearls and Swarovski Crystal beads, to add a little sparkle to please my magpie eye!

I collect all my seaglass myself, so I know it is 100% genuine. The glass on our beaches was largely never made into anything, so it tends to be thicker than american glass. At the end of the working day glass makers just chucked the glass they had left over the cliff into the sea. The last glass works in our area closed in 1933, but most of our glass is from the mid 1800's when glass works were at their height. As a result it is deeply frosted. I have written a book about it, called Extraordinary English Sea Glass, it will be avalible in spring 2009.

I make a point of removing fishing line I see from the beach as I comb for glass, fishing line is so bad for marine life and the environment, making my sea glass extra eco friendly!!

National Glass Centre, Sunderland, England (so pleased about that!) Sells my stuff if you are in the area please take a look in the gift shop!

I am currently building my own website, www.englishseaglass.com and will be listing a lot of jewels on there as well as etsy, if you want a custom item from my glass or your own, please request one, I am happy to take requests x
