I was looking for a unique gift for my niece for her high school graduation and quite by serendipitous accident, I came across “EMA” (Engrave My Achievement.)

It was exactly what I was looking for.
The proprietor, Ron Fierro, showed me an example of his work; I was very impressed and ordered two plaques.

I gave one to my niece and one to her parents. They all loved them!

I recommend this shop for others who are searching for that unique “something extra” keepsake that won’t be forgotten about but (hopefully) passed down through the generations.

I am very pleased with my purchase.

    Thanks, Ron and EMA!!

Video summary: How to assemble and repackage the Grad Cap Plaque

There are many mountains and ladders on the road to the top; engrave it when you get there.

Engrave My Achievement started in the summer of 2018 when I became a member at NextFab. Nextfab is a network of membership-based maker-spaces that provide access to tools and technology. I set a goal of learning how to use as much of the equipment as I could bearing my work/school schedule. The laser engraving machine quickly became my favorite tool. At first, the goal was to creatively make personalized gifts for my friends and family. Now, EMA is thriving to commemorate every major life accomplishment with beautifully personalized works of art. Starting with the Grad Cap Plaque an interesting gift idea for my cousin’s Graduation Party.

I originally moved to Delaware to go to Graduate School at Wilmington University, while working at Home Depot and Wawa. Then I gain access to a laser engraving machine and wood shop where I could creatively make personalized gifts.
