Announcement   Welcome to my store! Here you will find an array of natural healing gemstones made into Malas, Bracelets and wraps.

I love the healing properties of gemstones, and also how we seem to be drawn to something that we need at any given time. I make all the pieces myself, by hand, in sunny California.

I was inspired to create simple gemstone bracelets, after a stone I was carrying in my pocket tumbled to the ground and broke into pieces .... Unlike a stone in your pocket, a bracelet keeps the energy in contact with the skin, and each time we notice it, it reminds us of our intention, bringing it back to the front of the mind.

My first mala was a gift from a friend, and it wouldn't loop around that last time and fit over my wrist nicely. I was on a plane, and for some reason convinced it would fit THIS time, I tried to force it over my hand it exploded, sending 108 beads flying around the plane! I managed to retrieve all but one, and set about finding a way to make it adjustable. My first attempt used elastic, but that perishes over time. I eventually found a sliding knot, which I use on all my malas and many bracelets, so you can adjust them to fit your wrist.

Along with designing, making, photographing and all the other things that go along with this business, I also have a healing practice. I love working with people to find a stone that fits their current needs and intentions, so if you don't see the perfect thing for you, please send me a message and we can discover it together.

Everything is handmade by me, I work with intention and clean the stones before I send them out. If you would like them Reiki charged, just send me a message and I'd be happy to do that for you.

I work with only high quality, genuine gemstones, that have not been dyed, from reliable sources. I want you to be delighted with your purchase, I enjoy making them and I want you to enjoy wearing them just as much!

Thanks for dropping in, if you have questions, please just ask me.
Love Kate

This is a wonderful piece. If you like smaller beads this size is good. It is knotted in such a way that you still have separation between the beads.

Updates

Hurrah, more black tourmaline arrived today, I was perilously close to running out.
Making some more heart chakra charm bracelets, Morganite, ruby, peridot and Rose Quartz, packed full of love! They make awesome gifts too!
I love it when new beads arrive and I immediately am inspired to create something new. I love the rich colours of this Amazonite and Rhodochrosite. The first couple of malas sold before I even had a chance to get them up in my Etsy shop. Enjoy!

About

Healing

It was simple really, I wanted a simple bracelet, made with a particular gemstone, with an adjustable closure, that wasn't elasticated. If it was so simple why couldn't I find it?

Then a friend said to me - "Why don't you make it yourself" and that's how it started. The engineer in me joined forces with my creative roots, and I figured out how to make exactly what I wanted.

My Husband then asked me to make him a mala - He'd been unable to find a Jet Mala, and wanted something that would cinch around his wrist. There's a whole story about how I exploded my first mala on a longhaul flight, trying to get it over my wrist that final time - pretty impressed that I only lost one bead as they scatterred all over the plane! After that, I restrung mine with elastic, but of course that perishes over time. The sliding knot I'd discovered for my bracelets could also make an adjustable mala too!

Since then I've had all sorts of interesting requests, including rings and the popular healing charms for dog collars!

I love working with people to create their perfect mala, or gemstone piece. These beautiful stones all have their own healing properties, matching those up with a persons needs, and putting them into a mala or bracelet is so much fun.

That same friend suggested I opened an Etsy shop, so here I am - It's an honour to be part of creating a special piece for someone.

Welcome!

I love the healing properties of natural gemstones and was inspired to created these pieces, so I could keep the stones touching my skin, rather than have pockets full of stones, which often fell out and, unfortunately broke.

Mala beads are particularly special pieces, and can be used as part of a prayer or meditation practice. Selecting the right stones for your mala can help deepen your practice and intent. If you would like something specially tuned to you, please send me a message and we can work out the perfect stones for you.

Additional policies and FAQs
Care details

Please be careful with your Enlightened Piece. They do not respond well to water, so please do not wear them while bathing, showering or swimming. Wearing them during strenuous activity may also result in breakage or damage to your piece.

I recommend cleaning your piece from time to time, by leaving it out over night, at full moon, in the full sun or laying it on a piece of selenite. Gemstones will absorb energies, they can get full and need cleaning out once in a while, or more often, depending on the environment and how often they are used.

Whilst I clean all my gemstones, and take care to treat them well, I do recommend that you clean them for yourself when they first arrive, resetting them for your use and intention - unless you asked for them to be Reiki charged!
