It was the first winter that I was living abroad, away from family and friends, and I was looking for a special Christmas card that would show the beautiful sites of Washington, DC that I had come to love so much. I ended up designing my own.

My cards are inspired by maps and cities I've visited. The places I feature in my illustrations are a mix of personal highlights and famous sites. I love to play with precision and imperfection and try to express emotions that people can identify with.

My studio is a tiny office space with an inspiring view over the Bloomingdale neighborhood where I create my designs, screen print my greeting cards and pack every highly appreciated order.

I set up my Etsy shop to give you the opportunity to send something that is unique through the mail. Not only does my Etsy shop depend on the U.S. Postal Service, the USPS also connects me with my family and friends in Europe. That’s one of the reasons why the iconic blue mailbox has become the logo of my shop.
