I love spinning, and I am especially fond of the depth of color that comes from spinning colors carded together. Hence these batts.

I use corriedale as my go-to wool because it is one of my very favorites: it's woolly enough to feel like wool (and to be reasonably sturdy) while also fine enough to be suitable for a range of garment projects.

My goal for my batts is to card them so they'll spin effortlessly, almost as though they're spinning themselves. I often leave some streaks of color, for more variation in the finished yarn, but -- except for noils and other intentional texture -- my batts are very smooth. (I like spinning art batts for some purposes, but these are not they.) As far as sparkly nylons, batts that include them contain less sparkly stuff than the minimum that my smaller/finer scale will register.

Although I often card only a few batts in a particular batch of a colorway, I'm happy to discuss custom orders for larger sets of batts. Current turnaround time is 1-2 days for colorways that do not require custom dyeing and 3-7 days for colorways that do require dyeing.

Conversely, if I've posted a larger set than you'd like, I'd be happy to split listings, as long as the batts themselves remain intact.

I am also open to custom spinning orders; please contact me if you are interested in custom handspun.

I hope that everything from my shop meets your expectations as well as mine. If something is wrong, please contact me to work out a solution.

I cannot be responsible for the differences in color representation between my monitor and yours. If you're concerned about the exact color of an item, please ask before ordering it.

If an item is damaged during shipping, I will cover return shipping costs. Return shipping for other returns or exchanges is the customer's responsibility.

If you would like an item shipped as a gift, please ensure that the correct shipping address is included as the PayPal or Etsy ship-to address.
I am happy to accept money orders or personal checks instead of Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout. If you pay with a money order, your order will be shipped upon receipt; if you pay by check, your order will be shipped when the check clears.
My standard US shipping method is USPS first-class with delivery confirmation. I do my best to ship either same-day or the business day after I receive an order or after a custom order is finished.

Jewelry is shipped via Priority Mail rather than First Class, hence the higher shipping charge.
Additional policies and FAQs
Batts and yarn are from a non-smoking home with one cat. I don't intentionally card cat fur, nor does the cat sleep in the wool, but he does shed nearby.

Also, I do my best to photograph and describe colors accurately, but monitors will vary. If you're concerned about how a particular color looks on screen, I can try to answer your questions via convo.

Very Repeatable colorways:
Black-Eyed Susan
Burning Tweed
Garden Shoots
Garnet & Citrine
Lapis & Malachite
Lily Pond
Malachite & Citrine
Ruby & Citrine
Spiced Chocolate
Stormy Lake

For most other colorways, I can card something similar, but it won't match as well as the Very Repeatable ones above. A gallery of colorways can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mc3ynoip53mhepi/pHqzU_GL8U. Where I have multiple versions of a more variable colorway, the variations should be visible there.
