I LOVE it. It will go perfect with the Christmas saddle pad got for my Friesian which I am reputed to dress up my horse like most people dress their Barbie Dolls. I am thinking about ordering a whole holiday assortment of them in the future. The workmanship is exquisite. Thank you from Cindy ans the best dressed horse in the barn!

It is beautiful! The USPS lost it and the seller was great about helping me locate it. Thank you!
About
Bringing color and sparkle to my (horse's) attire.
I "ride dressage". Meaning, I ride horses and my discipline of choice is dressage. This discipline is steeped in history and tradition and riding attire is typically very conservative. In a past life, I rode western and loved the color and sparkle in the show ring. I missed this when I changed my focus to dressage. When beaded leather browbands started showing up in the market, I was all over them. My mare had at least four of them to match her various saddle pads and one that we could even get away with in the show ring.
As I mentioned, I love color and was building a collection of fun and fancy saddle pads. Well, at $70+ a pop, a browband to match each one was out of the question so I started looking into ways to make them myself. Leather just wasn't practical, I couldn't sew into it and I hated the typical DIY version where the thread could be seen.
In my research, I ventured into the local craft stores and oh. my. lord!! The BEADS!! The color, the sparkle...! Who needs leather, I figured I'd just string them across my horse's forehead - sort of like the U-shaped blingy browbands starting to show up in the show ring. Um... no. That was a fail. A big fail since by then I was riding a very green little Arab who did NOT appreciate them bouncing on his forehead.
I kept experimenting and finally came up with the first prototypes of the beaded wires. For my own part, it was a crazy pain in the bum having to take my bridle apart every ride to swith out the browband to match my saddle pad. I developed a kinda cool quick-change system where I can snap the browbands on and off and switch them quickly and easily. Initially, I offered that as an option in my shop but there was virtually no interest so I pulled that idea. Still, the beaded wire browbands were proving to be well-received and I now sell them on Etsy, Ebay and at local tack sales.
