This patch is so, so beautiful. It took awhile to get to me but I know that's just because each patch is made to order! I'm so happy with it and can't wait to sew it on my Carhartt jacket.

About

E R A D U R A is a one woman embroidery show crafted, designed and hand stitched by Erika Duran

Growing up in West Texas instilled a deep rooted love of everything the desert offered ⎯⎯⎯ bleached sands and blushing skies and a midday sun so bright you'd never believe it could sink into night. Desert imagery isn't so much my inspiration as it is what comes tumbling out of me naturally. It's the language that I know.

Coupled with my (somewhat) superstitious nature, I often find these desert elements intertwined with symbols of luck and chance like little emblems and reminders of fate. The name of my shop itself comes from the melding of my name and 'herradura', Spanish for horseshoe and a token of luck that I took for my own.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Do you wholesale?

I do accept small batch wholesale requests, but because I am an operation of one, slots are limited. Please email me to discuss your shop's individual needs and to check availability at eradurashop(at)gmail.com.

Q: How do I care for my patch?

Hand embroidery is delicate in nature and should be treated with care. To promote longevity, I recommend hand or machine stitching patches to items that are not routinely laundered like a jean jacket or tote bag. Avoid washing and drying.

Gently spot clean or Dry Clean only

Q: How soon will I hear back about my question?

I do my best to answer emails of an urgent nature as quickly as possible, most often same-day, M-F. However, please allow up to 72 hours for response to custom requests and general inquiries. Thank you!

Q: When will I receive my order?

Unless otherwise stated, each patch is carefully made to order and embroidered by hand. Due to high demand, current turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks before shipment. Once purchased, your order will be placed in a queue to be stitched up and shipped out as soon as possible. I do my best to honor deadline requests however, so please contact me prior to purchasing if you'd like to request an item by a specific date.

Ready to ship items like totes and pins are typically prepared for shipment within 5 business days. However, orders containing multiple items ship together. If a tote order also contains a patch, all items will be shipped in one package once patch has been completed.

Q: Do you take custom requests?

Custom requests are currently full and I am not accepting new projects at the moment. Please find my general custom order info below:

I'm happy to hear your custom order requests! As a policy I do not accept commissions to recreate other artist's work. Additionally, I am more likely to take on projects that fall within my aesthetic and artistic scope. Feel free to peruse my past & current works on Instagram (@eradura) and at www.eradura.com to get a sense of what I do.

If my aesthetic seems like it suits your project, please send me a note or email with your general ideas and I'll see what I can do!

Exact quotes/turnaround times can be given upon discussing project details but generally custom work takes 6+ weeks for completion.

Q: Can I take your design to my tattoo artist?

If you're interested in getting one of my existing designs tattooed, please submit a request with the design you're interested in by email to eradurashop@gmail.com. Most designs are available for tattoo, but a few custom and one of a kind pieces are special for their recipients and out of respect I ask that those not be reproduced.

If approved, my fee for use of existing work is $30/design. I ask that I be tagged/credited for the design in posts and also would love to see photos of the finished piece!

Additionally, I occasionally take custom tattoo projects. If interested, please check availability by email and I can provide pricing and additional information.
